Our reviews help families make confident childcare decisions and give centres valuable feedback. To keep reviews helpful, fair and trustworthy, all submissions must follow the guidelines below.
Our goal is to create a trusted space where families and centres can share and read reviews with confidence. Feedback should reflect honest, first hand experiences, be respectful and constructive, and provide accurate, trustworthy information.
To maintain this trust all reviews are moderated in accordance with this policy.
By submitting a review, you agree to these guidelines.
Reviews should be based on genuine experiences such as:
We encourage feedback that is specific, balanced and helpful to other families.
Each parent may submit one review per centre within a 12 month period, unless invited to provide an updated review
To protect families, children, educators, and centres and in line with legal confidentiality & privacy obligations, the following content is not permitted:
Reviews must not name, identify, or single out individual staff members.

Care for Kids is not a replacement for proper reporting channels.
If a review contains allegations of abuse, neglect, unlawful conduct, or child safety concerns, the review may be withheld from publication and assessed in line with safeguarding and legal obligations.
If you believe a child is at risk or a law has been broken, please contact the appropriate authorities directly.
To maintain fairness and transparency, all reviews follow the process below:
All reviews undergo automated screening to identify content that may breach this policy (including profanity, personal information, or prohibited content).
Submission of a review does not guarantee publication.
Care For Kids reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline, edit, remove, or reinstate any review to ensure compliance with this policy and applicable laws.
Once submitted, a review enters a pending state and is not publicly visible.
The centre is notified and has 48 business hours to:
If the centre responds within this period, the review and response may be published together.
If no response or dispute is received within 48 business hours, the review will be published.
Centres may respond at any time after publication.
Centres may report reviews through their dashboard.
A centre may dispute a review at any time if they believe it breaches this policy.
If a review is disputed before publication, it will remain unpublished during assessment. If disputed after publication, it may be temporarily hidden during assessment.
The parent may be asked to provide additional context or supporting information such as proof of enrollment, etc. If requested information is not provided within 7 business days, the review may be declined or removed.
Care For Kids will assess the review against this policy and may reinstate, edit, or remove it at the sole discretion of Care for Kids.
Decisions are made against this policy, not subjective opinions.
Centres cannot remove reviews simply because they are negative.
Where appropriate, Care For Kids may edit reviews to remove:
Edits will not alter the overall meaning or sentiment of the review.
Parents may be notified where substantive edits are required.
We take steps to help ensure reviews reflect real experiences.
Reviews may display a badge indicating:
These badges reflect platform activity and do not represent an endorsement.
Reviews may include a star rating.
When sufficient ratings are received, they are combined to create an overall rating to help families compare services.
Centres are encouraged to respond professionally and respectfully.
Thoughtful responses can build trust and show commitment to quality care.
Care for Kids may use reviews for marketing purposes. The general terms and conditions regarding use of the Care for Kids platform continue to apply.
