How Reviews Are Moderated


To maintain fairness and transparency, all reviews follow the process below:

1. Submission & Automated Screening

All reviews undergo automated screening to identify content that may breach this policy (including profanity, personal information, or prohibited content).

Submission of a review does not guarantee publication.

Care For Kids reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline, edit, remove, or reinstate any review to ensure compliance with this policy and applicable laws.

2. Provider Review Period (48 Business Hours)

Once submitted, a review enters a pending state and is not publicly visible.

The centre is notified and has 48 business hours to:

  • Submit a response, or
  • Dispute the review under this policy

If the centre responds within this period, the review and response may be published together.

If no response or dispute is received within 48 business hours, the review will be published.

Centres may respond at any time after publication.

Centres may report reviews through their dashboard.

3. Dispute Process (10 Business Days)

A centre may dispute a review at any time if they believe it breaches this policy.

If a review is disputed before publication, it will remain unpublished during assessment. If disputed after publication, it may be temporarily hidden during assessment.

The parent may be asked to provide additional context or supporting information such as proof of enrollment, etc. If requested information is not provided within 7 business days, the review may be declined or removed.

Care For Kids will assess the review against this policy and may reinstate, edit, or remove it at the sole discretion of Care for Kids.

Decisions are made against this policy, not subjective opinions.

Centres cannot remove reviews simply because they are negative.


Editing For Compliance

Where appropriate, Care For Kids may edit reviews to remove:

  • Identifiable names
  • Personal contact details
  • Prohibited content

Edits will not alter the overall meaning or sentiment of the review.

Parents may be notified where substantive edits are required.

Verifying Genuine Experiences

We take steps to help ensure reviews reflect real experiences.

Reviews may display a badge indicating:

  • Tour attended
  • Enrolment confirmed

These badges reflect platform activity and do not represent an endorsement.

Ratings & Overall Scores

Reviews may include a star rating.

When sufficient ratings are received, they are combined to create an overall rating to help families compare services.

Responding to Reviews

Centres are encouraged to respond professionally and respectfully.

Thoughtful responses can build trust and show commitment to quality care.

Use of reviews

Care for Kids may use reviews for marketing purposes. The general terms and conditions regarding use of the Care for Kids platform continue to apply.
