Our family have had a TRULY WONDERFUL experience sending our two little ones to Discovery Tree in Clayton South!! We attended their Grand Opening... Our family have had a TRULY WONDERFUL experience sending our two little ones to Discovery Tree in Clayton South!! We attended their Grand Opening Day many years ago and I recall being immediately stuck by the warmth of the family-run management team and their dedication to high-quality early childhood education and care. The past years have been fantastic as we've watched our girls blossom as part of the nurturing environment the management team and educators have cultivated at the centre. There are so many educators we've met across the various rooms that are TRUE GEMS and without a doubt have made a lasting and positive impact on the character and confidence of our two girls. Thank you so much to all of you. We will be sad to say goodbye as our youngest graduates from kinder soon, but our family will always look back on our time at Discovery Tree with great memories and much appreciation. From day one, it’s felt less like a childcare centre and more like an extended family for our little boy, Eli. Heather, Ross, Paul, Jack, Adele and the list goes on... the whole Discovery Tree family! — welcomed us with such warmth and genuine love that we instantly knew Eli was in the best hands possible. It’s no exaggeration to say that Elijah fell in love with attending Discovery Tree. Every single morning, he wakes up beaming — shoes in hand, ready to go! He’s always eager to see his friends (both children and adults), play, learn, and dive into the next big adventure that the team have set up. What truly sets Discovery Tree apart is its heart. It’s a place where every family feels welcome — no matter your background, culture, or story. My wife and I noticed the team embraces everyone with kindness and respect, creating an environment that celebrates diversity and teaches children the values of inclusion and empathy from the very beginning. It’s comforting to know our child is growing up in a place that sees all kinds of people as equal, valued, and loved. Since joining 6 months ago, we’ve seen huge growth in Eli — he’s more confident, cooperative, and thoughtful. The way he communicates, shares, and expresses himself has truly amazed us. It’s so clear that this isn’t “just a business” for Heather, Ross and Paul — it’s their calling. They pour their hearts into everything they do, from the daily routines to the special events, and it shows in the smiles of every child there. We’ve recently moved to the area and our son started in the Bottlebrush room in January. He settled in almost instantly and has been so comfortable with all the educators. Management have made coming across to them so easy and everyone’s so friendly. Truly a much better experience from where we previously were at a Great Beginnings centre.
