Feel very lucky to have Michelle caring for our son Dominic. She was recommended by our local kindy. Michelle has been patient, warm and caring and helped our son transition from my sole care into a day care program. He has such fun at Shell's home and smiles when he talks about his day and his little 'friends'. Michelle is a knowledgeable and intuitive carer and really helps the kids in her care to develop and grow.

Michelle is an absolute gem. She is so passionate in what she does and its clear from spending very little time talking to her that she adores children and takes their education and care very seriously. My older daughter attended daycare, however after it expanded and the standards of care dropped, I wanted an alternative for my youngest daughter. Michelle came highly recommended as she is known well in the area. It's now nearly 2 years on and I couldn't be happier with the level of care and attention she provides. Shell cares for the kids like they are her own and is interested in their development and guides them to be happy, sociable, playful little beings.

Our daughter has been attending Michelle’s service for over a year and absolutely loves it. When your child has her backpack on ready to go an hour before you are scheduled to leave, you know she is happy, feeling secure and loved, and having fun. I am so grateful to have been introduced to Michelle Edwards who took my little boy under her wing for a year so that he could learn socialisation because he’s an only child and kindy wasn’t available until he was 4 years old. Michelle was a wonderful help when we struggled with toilet training and was a sage with her guidance to me as a first time mum. My son adored his year there. Thanks to Michelle he started kindy this year raring to go! This is definitely a family day care I’d recommend. Michelle treats all her little charges with love and respect.

I would highly recommend Michelle as a family day care provider. My sensitive 3 year old boy entered the care environment for the first time this year with Michelle and has thrived under her care and warmth. She provides a lovely nurturing environment to equip children with the right balance of independence and social skills. Daily walking excursions to local parks, library and play groups allow children to experience the best of both worlds - both small group interactions as well as more stimulating and larger group scenarios. From the first day it felt right leaving my son in her care.

Being a rather tight-knit family, we thought putting our 2-year old boy Tristan at daycare to socialise outside our family circle and learn being away from us. We visited a few childcare centres in the 4075 postcode and were very uncomfortable at the general standard of attention and hygiene. We started considering a family daycare instead and met with Michelle on the basis of recommendations. We immediately felt relieved - we shared similar behavioural, educational and social goals and objectives. Michelle runs endless fun activities for the kids with utmost kindness, attention and care. Tristan has now been in the care of Michelle for the past 2 years and he is plainly loving it! Time has now come for Tristan to join kindy and his little 2-year old brother Ayden is ready to take his spot in the care of Michelle. Our son has been going to Michelle (Shell) for nearly 2 years now and he LOVES it. So much so, he asks to go play at daycare on his days off! Shell provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for the kids that both they and us parents love. She's constantly looking at ways to improve and provide more. She is, however, a little bit modest, so here are the things you won't know until you go: - She used to be a chef, so all the meals are nutritious and delicious. I swear our son eats more at daycare than he does at home! - not only does she take the kids on fun and educational outings to the library, parks and playgroup, they get to go to the milkshake shop once a week for a treat she will buy them. - If she's helping you toilet train your child, she also helps out with the washing where she can, keeping some clothes there to clean for you. - If your child reaches a mile stone and wants to contact you, she will go out of her way to send you a text with a photo, or call if she knows you're not at work. - Not only do the kids love her like a family member, they hold a high respect for her. - She is so well known in the neighbourhood as the 'best ever' that other mothers I've spoken to are jealous when I tell them we got our son in. Shell provides a safe and caring environment for all the kids to learn and grow. We won't send our son anywhere else because I know he is not only well cared for, but cared about as well. I have full trust in Shell and her ability to look after our son and highly recommend her services to anyone in the area needing daycare.
