Welcome to Guardian Childcare & Education Sherwood Forest,a unique centre located in a converted Church, featuring original stained-glass windows providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged six weeks to six years of age, supporting them to discover the world in a safe and secure way.
To BE Me is Guardian’s exclusive learning program – a game changer that marks a new era in early learning. It reimagines early education, giving families clear insights into how play connects to learning and development.
Nursery Rooms are our specialty. Our experienced Baby Ambassador and Nursery team take the time to really know your baby’s routines and personality, supporting them to feel safe and settled. Our Nursery rooms are calm, nurturing spaces that feel like a home away from home.
Our early childhood education programs are focused on play-based learning, and our spacious day care and child care centre provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged six weeks to six years of age, supporting them to discover the world in a safe and secure way.
The Queensland Government offers funding to provide families up to 15 hours of free kindergarten a week (40 weeks per year). The funding off sets the fees for children who turn four years old by 30 June in the year before they attend primary school. This support is in addition to the Child Care Subsidy and can help to lower your out-of-pocket fees.
Safety and wellbeing are our highest priority, giving families peace of mind in the safe childcare we provide. Our centre is a place where children thrive – and families say it’s the best childcare in Sherwood Forest.
