Our experience with this centre was disappointing. My 2yo child often had severe nappy rash while attending, even though we provided our own nappies. Personal belongings also went missing quite frequently. My child was also bitten twice. I understand that incidents can happen in childcare, but the response from management was not very helpful and we didn’t feel the situation was taken seriously. There also seems to be a high staff turnover, which makes it hard to feel there is stability for the children. At our new childcare centre, when my child was scratched once, the teachers immediately apologised and communicated with us clearly. The difference in attitude and care was very noticeable. —— Update (Response to the centre) —— Hi, I can confirm this review is based on our genuine experience at your Cherrybrook centre. The incidents mentioned (nappy rash, belongings going missing, and biting) did happen, and we raised concerns during our time there. I understand policies or staff may have changed since then, but this does not invalidate our experience.It’s disappointing to see our experience being dismissed rather than addressed.

We are extremely grateful for the care and support this childcare centre has provided to our daughter. Ms Ahya has been absolutely amazing — she takes such good care of our daughter, and it truly shows. Even on the weekends, our daughter keeps mentioning Ahya’s name, which says so much about the bond they have built. As parents, that gives us so much reassurance and peace of mind. We would also like to sincerely thank the manager, Ms Silvia. She has been incredibly helpful, always approachable, and has given us a lot of valuable and practical advice. Her professionalism and genuine care for both children and families really stand out. It’s clear that the team here truly cares about the children’s wellbeing, development, and happiness. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and highly recommend this centre to other families.

We have been at Heritage House Cherrybrook for over 3 years now. My son loves it! He has a special bond with some of the educators and the centre feels warm. I love and appreciate the effort the centre puts into concerts/celebratory days with parents. My dealings with accounts/management have always been pleasant. We recently transitioned our son to another heritage house service and Nikita was super helpful and made us feel like a priority throughout the process albeit a busy time for enrolments.

We've been with HHC for almost 3 years now. It was a little bumpy in the beginning due to multiple abrupt staff turnover and lack of transparent communication (this is why I removed a star). However, management was proactive in asking for parental feedback and took onboard our worries/concerns. They also provided context of what was going on. Communication since has improved and has become more transparent. They always ask for feedback ideas how to improve. The centre is tidy and the layout is well thought out for play based learning. It's not a pinterest picture perfect "pretty" or "aesthetic" centre. You can tell the toys/books are loved but they are sufficiently maintained. They have consistent incursions like sports, yoga, Healthy Harold, recycling sessions etc. At pick up, I can consistently see the space set up for the next day's activities. In the mornings I can see the centre's cook working hard prepping for the day's meals and the centre smells so good. My LO has thrived in the pre-school room and the level of consistent care has been great. The friendly educators have been there for more than 2 years and they proactively update me on his development in the morning during drop offs. I feel I am able to work together with the educators to help my LO's development. They have helped me immensely and provide me comfort especially during tough mornings when my LO's struggles to separate. Recommend!

We've had a fantastic experience with Heritage House in Cherrybrook. From the very beginning we were welcomed with open arms making the transition for my children incredibly smooth. We have one child in the toddlers and room and our 1 year old in the nursery. The staff have been incredibly helpful, even accommodating us on several occasions when we had emergencies and needed to drop the kids off on a casual day. Communication has been consistently wonderful, keeping us updated on our children's progress and daily activities. The program is excellent, and the centre is always spotless. The teachers are not only professional but also loving and attentive, making our children feel cherished and secure. We have had so much assistance with toilet training too. We feel extremely fortunate to have found such an outstanding daycare centre. The love and care extended to our family have been heartwarming and we are beyond grateful. Without a doubt we highly recommend Heritage House Cherrybrook to anyone seeking a nurturing and supportive environment for their children.

Not Recommended If I could give minus point I would definitely do that. I strongly advise against enrolling your child in this centre due to the following serious concerns based on my direct experience: 1. High Staff Turnover: At least one educator was resigning every month or every two months, causing instability in the environment. 2. Lack of Consistency in Educators: Educators were not assigned to fixed rooms and kept rotating, which is particularly harmful for nursery and toddler-aged children who need consistency. 3. Limited Toys and Activities: Compared to other centres, they had noticeably fewer toys and lacked a variety of engaging activities for the children. 4. Unfriendly Staff: Most educators were not approachable or friendly. Many did not respond when greeted with a simple “good morning” or “goodbye.” 5. Lack of Feedback: Parents were rarely given updates about their child’s development or important daily needs. It often felt like information was intentionally withheld. 6. Poor Safety Practices: My child suffered a serious accident — two bites on her right hand and a large wound — with no supervision or notification. The centre did not call me or complete an incident report until a week later, and even then, the report contained incorrect information. The centre manager also refused to review camera footage. 7. Disregard for Medical Instructions: Despite submitting multiple forms (by me and our GP) for my child’s eczema care, they ignored instructions and did not use her personal wipes. 8. Poor Communication About Supplies: Staff never informed us when nappies or wipes were running low. I had to check the changing room myself to ensure supplies were there, especially since my child couldn’t use wipes with alcohol. 9. Verbal Abuse and Lack of Empathy: One educator verbally abused my child in front of me when she refused to go to the toilet with a group. Instead of building a trusting relationship, they pressured her and dismissed her feelings. Very poor toilet training system that make that very hard and long term for families. 10. Unclean Environment: The centre did not seem very clean. My child was frequently sick with unfamiliar viruses and bacterial infections. 11. Poor App Updates: The childcare app was not properly updated, so I couldn’t access accurate or timely information about my child. I reported this so many times to managers but as they dont care nothing happened. 12. Limited Photos: Only around five photos were uploaded daily, and often none included my child, leaving me unsure about her participation or mood. 13. Lack of Emotional Support: Even after a full year, my child never settled at the centre. She often said she didn’t want to go, and staff dismissed it as her personality issue. After switching centres, she settled happily on the first day — and still, after two months, refuses to even mention going back to the previous centre. 14. Lack of Educational Progress: After transferring to the toddler room, my child forgot the alphabet and numbers she previously knew, due to a clear lack of learning support. 15. Neglect of Basic Needs: The staff did not show care for basic needs such as ensuring the children nap, eat well, or even drink WATER regularly. I have lots of examples of these things. ⸻ Final Note: I may have forgotten some points, but in summary — if you truly care about your child’s safety, well-being, and development, I do not recommend enrolling your child in this centre
