We have been visiting Sage Early Education Center for almost a year now and are absolutely thrilled! Everything is perfect: the atmosphere, the cleanliness, the activities. But the most valuable is its staff. All the educators at Sage are amazing, but I'd especially like to highlight Miss Emily, who knows how to find an individual approach to each child. She is my son’s absolute love)))! I'd like to take this opportunity to wish Sage all the best! You're doing an amazing job! Thank you so much!

Sage is an incredible childcare center. My son has been there for almost 1 year. He now always asks for going to school. He has been supported a lot from Natalie and educators. Emily is great with my son. That is the first name ever he remembers at school 🥰

At Sage we recognise the significant impact music has on a child in their early years. We are fortunate to have our own recording studio, ‘Sounds of Sage.’ In this space, children can learn to create and express themselves through the joy of music. Research suggests that music is a powerful tool in supporting a child’s learning, development and brain function. With a range of benefits, music supports positive moods, emotional wellbeing, and self-regulation. Language and cognitive skills as well as gross motor skills are also promoted through musical activities. Children’s bodies and minds are supported to work together as they experiment with moving their bodies to music. Music is one of the few activities that use both the logical and creative sides of the brain. Sound of Sage will give children an opportunity to investigate with sounds and rhythm whilst crafting their own music. We have a variety of fun musical instruments to explore along with a range of props to promote movement and dancing. Children will discover music from different countries and cultures and enjoy the experience of making music alongside their peers. Some experiences children will participate in at Sounds of Sage include musical games, singing, exploring instruments and creating songs, recording musical rhythms and listening to playback of music, and expressive dance and movement
A place where the children can put their building skills to use as they explore a range of tools to bring their creations to life. Our fully supervised woodwork room encourages children to assess risks and make safe decisions. It is more important now than ever that children have opportunities to solve problems and overcome challenges with trial and error. Engaging in construction with tools offers a valuable opportunity for risky play, allowing children to challenge themselves and develop confidence and skills with new materials. The Shed will encourage children to participate in activities where they can use hammers and nails, use a saw to cut wood, using screws and a screw driver, practicing measurement and mathematic concepts, and completing small woodwork projects that can be completed over time. Construction and woodwork incorporates all aspects of learning including STEM, physical coordination, language skills, collaboration and team work. Children can experiment and tinker with real tools and materials building on their critical thinking, crafting and designing skills. With the careful guidance of adults, children will take on exciting woodwork projects where they will feel a sense of achievement with their completed work. The Shed is an inclusive space within our Sage Centre that encourages children to connect with each other and the world around them, nurturing curiosity, independence, and creative thinking.
At Sage Early Education, our Approved Provider and Founder is onsite every day. You see her on the floor. You see her with the children. You see her supporting educators and families. She brings over 25 years of hands on experience in early education. She has worked in rooms. She has led teams. She has managed and grown high quality services. She knows what quality looks like because she has lived it. Her passion sets the tone. Children come first. Educators feel supported. Families feel heard. Decisions are made with care, not from behind a desk. For you, this means leadership you can trust. Experience you can see. And a centre run with heart, consistency, and purpose.
Sage Early Education Centre is purpose-built with your child’s needs in mind. We believe that playing outdoors in all weather conditions offers numerous benefits for children. At Sage, there’s no such thing as bad weather. Children will have opportunities for exploration, creativity, and physical activity all year round! No matter the weather, a young child’s imagination can run wild, creating new worlds and stories with their friends. Our outdoor spaces are designed to inspire exploration and play. With recorded nature sounds and misting systems, children are transported from the CBD to a rainforest playground filled with endless discoveries. They can enjoy sandpits, obstacle courses, sensory walls, edible gardens, bike tracks, and a wet/dry creek, providing countless opportunities for outdoor adventure. The open-plan commercial kitchen, overlooking the outdoor area, allows children to watch our centre chef in action and easily access healthy snacks and water to keep them energised during their playtime. Outdoor Sleeping and Eating Listening to the sounds of nature is calming and peaceful, providing a more restful sleeping and dining experience. In our outdoor area, children can enjoy the skyline, city views, and natural greenery. Our designated outdoor sleep area is covered and secure, offering protection from the elements while allowing children to benefit from fresh air and natural light
