After my son was terminated from another daycare, I found myself in a very vulnerable position, having to leave work to care for him full-time. Thankfully, my caseworker connected us with Goodstart, and I can honestly say it was a blessing in disguise. Everything seemed to happen for a reason, and meeting Emily and Ellie from Goodstart has been extremely beneficial for me, giving me newfound confidence as a parent in advocating for my son's needs. At the previous daycare, there were numerous issues that I wasn’t fully aware of, and the staff's negligence resulted in my son struggling to regulate his emotions during his time there. However, when he started at Goodstart, it was a complete turnaround. The staff knew exactly how to nurture his behavior and understood the reasons behind it. It was astonishing to witness because Thrive had known Christos since he was a baby, yet Emily and Ellie, who had just met him, immediately grasped his needs. They understood his emotions, recognized why he was acting out, and knew how to approach him. I felt truly seen and understood by both of them. The entire staff is incredibly involved and highly qualified to work with vulnerable children. They have made a tremendous impact on Christos by helping him identify and regulate his emotions, allowing him to join in group play with other kids. They have highlighted both his strengths and weaknesses and have effectively addressed any challenges he faces. Thanks to Goodstart, Christos is now ready for big boy school, and it’s all because of the dedicated staff. They have also equipped me with valuable parenting tools to navigate my son’s emotions and have offered me immense grace and understanding. They connected me with other families, fostering a sense of community, and it's evident that the staff genuinely cares for the children and their families. I cannot recommend Goodstart enough. Emily and Ellie have truly changed our lives for the better!

I would like to share my heartfelt appreciation for Goodstart Early Learning – Millet Street, Hurstville. Both of my children attend this centre — Azaan in the long day care preschool and Ahraaz in the nursery — and our experience has been truly wonderful. For Ahraaz, I want to specially mention Rozsa and Santona. They care for him with so much love, patience and kindness. As a parent, it gives me so much peace knowing my little baby is in such gentle and caring hands every single day. For Azaan, I am deeply grateful to Dunia, Hiba, shika and Rassa. They support him, understand him, and make him feel confident and happy. I can see how much he has learned and grown, and it’s because of the genuine effort these educators put into his development. And a very special thank you to Emily, the Centre Director. Her support, understanding, and guidance mean a lot to our family. She always listens and always helps with a smile. All the staff at this centre are incredibly kind, friendly and supportive. You can truly feel that they care about every child. As a parent, this means everything. As a mother, I am very grateful for Goodstart Early Learning – Millet Street, Hurstville. Over a period of time, the centre went through a change of management and things were not running as smoothly, which also led to some long-term educators leaving. Since Emily became the director, everything has improved and returned to an even higher standard. My child really enjoys going to the centre now, and we’re very happy with the care and environment. The educators are caring, patient, and always communicate well with us. They truly care about the children and support their learning and wellbeing. Thank you to the wonderful team!

My son enjoys his time so much at Goodstart Hurstville. All the staff are very friendly and kind to the children, and they are lovely to families. The director, Emily, is very supportive and understanding.

Both my kids go to Goodstart Millet Street and both my kids are so happy and have really grown and learned so much in the time they have been there. They run in everyday happy, and going straight to their educators. All the educators have been so good with my babies - my girl in the toddler room and my boy in the nursery. I want to thank the Centre Director, Emily, for always being so open and friendly towards our family. The educators (to name a few) - Cindy, Kate, Rasa, Rosa, Shantona, Anita and Ruby - THANK YOU! We can't thank you enough for the kindness and care you show to our family, especially and most importantly our babies. We wouldn't go anywhere else! I'd give it more stars if I could 💜

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We’ve had such a wonderful experience at Goodstart Hurstville. The educators are attentive, caring. My son absolutely loves Ruby, Cindy, and Rozsa. They always make him feel happy, safe, and excited to learn. The rooms are spacious and filled with plenty of fun and educational activities. The only downside is that after my son transitioned to the toddler room, there’s no app to check his daily activities or daily photo updates. It would be great to have that connection. 😁 Overall, this centre is highly recommended! You can really see how much the team cares for the children and the effort they put into making it a positive, nurturing environment.
