Mango Hill Family Day Care offers a warm, nurturing home-based childcare environment where children can feel safe, secure and truly at home while they learn, play and grow.

With a small group of mixed-age children, I’m able to provide individual attention while encouraging the beautiful friendships, cooperation and learning that naturally happen within a family-style setting. Our days are relaxed but full of opportunity, with a balance of child-led play and intentional learning experiences tailored to each child’s interests, developmental stage and individual goals.

Children enjoy our indoor play environment as well as plenty of outdoor time in our backyard, gardens and covered play areas. Our days can include sensory and messy play, art and craft, cooking, Montessori-inspired practical life experiences, gardening, music and movement, early literacy and numeracy, imaginative play and lots of opportunities to develop independence and confidence. We also enjoy outings and connections within our local community.

With 15 years of experience as a Family Day Care Educator, I believe some of the most meaningful learning happens in everyday moments — sharing a story, helping prepare food, watering the garden, discovering a bug outside or simply sitting together for a chat.
