Reggio Emilia Early Learning Centre Parramatta CBD caters to children aged 6 months to 6 years in a nurturing, home-like environment. With a daily Yarning Circle for the educators and children, the focus in the centre is on collaborative learning with a fun, play-based approach. This engages the children to help them develop a love of learning they will carry with them for life.
Located in a central high rise building, the spacious classrooms are well-equipped with resources the children need to spark their imagination, creativity and discovery. A large viewing window in the younger rooms ensures the educators can keep an eye on the children in their all-important rest times.
The children also have access to two incredible outdoor play areas that overlook the surrounding Parramatta community. From the outdoor areas, the children enjoy playing in the sandpits and gardens or on the gross motor equipment. They can also watch the birds in the nearby trees or the passing traffic as they take in the world around them.
Conveniently located on George Street in the heart of the Parramatta CBD, the centre is easily accessible via public transport. Why not book a tour of this nurturing and engaging centre today?

What the parents say
What the parents say
“Reggio Emilia is a great day care with lovely friendly staff who really care about and get to know the children they care for. They also have a lot of time for the parents, I have made some good friends of staff members and other parents during the years my daughter has attended the centre. Their educational programme is great and my daughter has developed so well with their support and guidance.”
Alison Bell
“Our 2 year old daughter has been enrolled at Reggio since she was 10 months old. The quality of care provided by the educators has been, and continues to be excellent. Reggio provides a comfortable, caring and safe environment which has allowed our daughter to develop solid social skills and self-confidence. We firmly believe that the Reggio educators will continue to foster an environment conducive to learning and development as our daughter progresses to school age.”
Claire
“My son has been attending Reggio Emilia since he was 8 months old. From the beginning they have made our transition so easy especially for someone who is a first time mum having to put my child into daycare 5 days a week. Their dedicated and caring staff have provided me with comfort knowing that my son would be well taken care of and work with me to set and achieve our goals. They always keep me well informed of his day to day activities and achievements. Their program and structured activities help the children reach all their important milestones and grow in their confidence every day. I could not be happier and cannot recommend them enough!”

“Reggio has been an absolute delight for both my children. Having compared their standards first hand with other daycares in the area I can confidently say that I have been very happy with their overall policies, proactive approach & need to continually improve upon their standards. All the staff are very helpful, welcoming & friendly. What I love best is that Reggio aims to always put the kids needs first, show plenty of love, are hygienic, provide a great variety of healthy food options and most importantly are very attentive and stay well informed in dealing with any allergies or medical issues. All in all Reggio has been amazing. Our family love the team to bits!!”

About the curriculum
About the curriculum
Following the Reggio Emilia philosophy, the curriculum at Reggio Emilia Early Learning Centre is designed around projects. With a focus on fun and play, the children are engaged in the project based around their unique interests.
The educators document the projects and share the children’s progress through portfolios that document the children’s individual learning journeys.
The curriculum for the preschool program helps to equip the children with tools and skills they’ll need for their transition to big school. Taught by qualified teachers, the preschool curriculum provides the framework for the different learning activities the children participate in.
Programs
Programs
In addition to regular incursions and excursions, the children at Reggio Emilia Learning Centre participate in an enriching extracurricular program. This is known as the Reggio 5 and incorporates:
- Reggio Art: the children explore different artistic styles and techniques to learn creative expression.
- Reggio Fitness: through diverse activities, such as dancing, yoga, soccer and martial arts, the children develop their physical skills while developing healthy lifestyle habits.
- Reggio Music: as one of the 100 languages, children learn self-expression through music as well as important social, emotional, language and motor skills.
- Reggio Language: to support the children’s cognitive development, they participate in French language lessons.
- Reggio Earth: the children learn about sustainability issues, concepts and practices so they can understand their impact on the environment and their role in protecting the earth.
