Hi guys. I have been an educator for 28 years with a cert 3 in childrens studies. I started off in long daycare services when I was 18 and when I knew I was close to becoming a mum I started working in family daycare. 

I have been registered through Camden council since 2016, where safety meets quality care. Educators are spot checked monthly with unannounced visits, to ensure ongoing complience and safety, which adds an extra layer of accountability by conducting monthly checks.

As an educator my aim is to maintain a positive environment where the children and thier families feel comfort, security, supported and safe. 

I provide a fun learning environment through a range of activities where the child is able to develop and grow into the person they want to be and assist with extending the development of each child's strengths, interests, ability and needs. 

In Maria's family daycare with a few of us educators we have created a Nature explorers program, where we meet a few times a month to engage with nature and interact with our friends.
