My son joined LittleSteps from 10 months old and he has been enjoying his time here. He settle in pretty quickly and becomes really comfortable with the educators that he would open his hands wide to ask them to carry him when he arrive in the morning. No cry on drop off shows how much he loves his “second home.” It makes me feel at ease knowing that our son is happy and is in good care. The educators are all so lovely, patient and kind. They care for our kids and try their best to build relationship with them. Farah, the director, is a friendly lady who cares for all our admin stuffs, plus also helps out with the kids. She is very hands on and seems to knows everything going around the kids in every rooms. We also have an app where updates are post regularly throughout the day on our child. It helps me plan ahead if my son is not eating/drinking or napping much that day. I also enjoys the journal, comments and photos they post. This helps me keep up with his progress and sometimes i would practice the songs or things he does in LittleSteps at home. I would definately recommend this childcare if you lives around the area. We have inspected a few childcares and this by far is the cleanest and organised one.

Centre philosophy

Centre philosophy

Play provides opportunities for children to learn as they discover, create, improvise and imagine.

Play provides a supportive environment where children can ask questions, solve problems and engage in critical thinking. Play can explain children’s thinking and enhance their desire to know and to learn. (EYLF, 2009 P15)

Natural resources encourage children to observe closely and use all their senses. Natural resources, with their complexity in shapes, textures and colours, are a perfect medium for use in loose parts play as they provide so many possibilities for discovery, inventiveness, and creativity. This type of play is open-ended, allowing children to decide the purpose of an item, rather than and adult or manufacturer.

We started at this daycare last month, and we truly love it. They organise so many interesting activities and always share lots of photos, explaining what the children did throughout the day. The educators are lovely, and my daughter really enjoys attending. We appreciate everything the team does.

I have sent my daughter to this CC 2 days a week, and I’m thinking to increase more days! All the educators and director are so friendly and nice, they never leave the child alone and they are patient to accompany the children if they are unsettled. Highly recommend this new CC, they are doing a good job! 👍
