Enrolled our daughter here in 2024 for ASC and holiday care. Was great when Krystel was running the ASC, until last year when Krystel left and new Management took over. The high staff turn over, very few teachers to child ratio, little to no communication regarding holiday bookings or activities (expect your child to tell you as we were never emailed anything and then was nothing at the centre available when asked), never anyone available at reception during drop off or pick up (got an email advising of the staffed hours yet there still was never anyone). Final straw was when the sign in process was changed and was told by staff they would sign her in as i was unaware and no one at the reception to help, however on the app they use it showed her signed in 2 hours later after drop off. Did not unenroll her on specific date which was confirmed by email from the Manager and I was called the week after asking if she was attending and charged for this date. Now 2 weeks on we are being told they havent received our final payment and due to not unenrolling her on time they have received our child care subsidy which still has not been returned to then be paid to our new child care centre. Unfortunately our whole experience with Honour started great and now has left a very sour note and we will not be recommending them to anyone.

I wish I could give here zero rating as I had horrible experience at this daycare. I was always trying to tell lil and obvious things for my 5months old. No one cared exactly no one cares there. I was still fine as no bib on baby it was winters and he was drooling wet clothes no one was changing his clothes diapers. I have started noticing that my baby is crying and hungry when i was going to pick him up and this time he was 11months. I met a lady there one of the staff who literally told me that no one is taking care of your son. When I was looking at paintings in centre I thought they might care about aboriginals. Reality is my aboriginal bay faced discrimination amongst other kids. Daycare was sending my baby home atleast once a week home where you can not send baby to daycare next day. Once i got a call that baby is bleeding with poo. I run from my work worried tried to get a appointment in hospital, When i went there they said sorry it was misunderstanding between manager and nurse as baby had nappy rash so it might be that…. Ohh do you guys know the difference between these two situations??? Then Finally i found a another daycare pulled my baby out send a email and reply from manager was ok noted. 4weeks notice period, another Mitchell manager came around(3rd manager within 6months) and she was like noo let me see what is happening and last day of daycare I pickup my baby hungry crying I asked staff what he had today? no one had answer as they didn’t feed him whole day at all. I have asked everyone in centre can someone tell me my baby had atleast milk. They were looking at me clueless like wha is she talking about we dont feed kids here. I am requesting you parents if you see my review please stop and think do you really want to send your kid to this place

This place is dodgy. Very high staff turnover and the staff that remain are iffy. Xmas 2024 I received a group email stating about 6 staff wouldn't be returning in the NY. The fill-in manager who didn't last long and has now left seemed a negative uptight jail warden who was difficult to get a return email from. Any communication was usually in regards to complaints about my two boys behaviour which seemed blown out of proportion in comparison to their "crime". They advertise chef prepared food - my boys were always hungry on collection from after-school care as they didn't like the food. If you want to take your child out of the service it is a 4 WEEK NOTICE PERIOD. Before the boys could start there, I had to have a separate meeting with their nurse (standard policy) to get the boys health history (just annoying and extra time wasted and for what. The info was already in their admission paperwork. They also lost the dozens of pages long application form and requested I resubmit it. Everytime I collected my boys from the schoolies room, whoever was sitting at the front desk would have their back turned to whoever walked up the stairs. More often than not there was no greeting. Awkward! My 4yo goes to Beststart Mt Warren and my boys now go to Beenleigh Montessori and the staff are happy, communicative and pleasant. Absolutely no issues or complaints from staff. I witnessed one new Honour staff member angrily yelling at a group of children, she was out of control, she didn't see myself and my mother walk into the room as her back was turned and when she turned and saw us, she looked shocked we were there. She then said that she was going to be writing an incident report. I can't remember what the issue was but it may have been play fighting and not listening. My mother just in from NZ and excited to see the boys for the first time in months was upset at this introduction to the centre. I have also witnessed another staff member yelling and aggressively manhandling her child in the car in the carpark Halloween 2024. My boys witnessed this. When I took my children out of the service, I did email and voice that I had concerns about staff behaviour but the reply email from the newly acting manager did not ask for further information or follow this up at all, just reiterated the 4 WEEK NOTICE PERIOD. So here I am leaving a review online which I would not have done if Honour cared enough to investigate my concerns. P.s my boys have just received their glowing reports from school with A's in behaviour. My little daughter's daycare at Beststart Mt Warren has been exemplary in their care of her, the manager treats her staff like family and the children like her own. During Cyclone Alfred they charged fees for the days of compulsory closure. Upper management needs to sort out staff training and morale. A big fancy building, a chef and nurse onsite is all smoke and mirrors.

My daughter has been going here for nearly a year was amazing for the first 6 months then new management came and now it's gone way down hill in quality . The staff are mostly amazing . Management are not .

I have two children at Honour Beenleigh and couldn't be happy with the supportive staff. My eldest on Jk and youngest in Nursery huge shout out to Amelia, Ceanna and Miss Krystle for ensuring my boys get the best care. :)

My daughter has been attending for nearly a year, and it’s incredible to see how far she’s come. She doesn’t cope well with change, so a new centre was going to be a difficult adjustment for her, but her educators went above and beyond in working to help her feel safe and loved. She is now in the Kindergarten room and is always so happy when I pick her up. She truly learns something new every single day. So grateful for our Honour family!

My boys attend here, and absolutely love it. The relationships they have made with their educators is beautiful. The convenience of having my oldest attend school, but be collected by Honour, meaning one pick-up for me, is absolutely brilliant.

Huge Shout out to Miss Ameila and Miss Bree in Nursery and JK. Both my boys are doing great and I love seeing the relationships their building with there educators.

I'm extremely disappointed with this centre. Initially, it seemed great when Miss Belinda was there, but things quickly took a turn for the worse. Every time I picked up my son, he was sitting alone, looking sad and withdrawn. It broke my heart to see him like that. Despite my concerns, I never saw any effort from the staff to include him or engage him in activities. As a result, it became a constant struggle to get him to attend. Eventually, I made the difficult decision to pull him out. My son is a happy, outgoing child, and his behavior at this centre was completely out of character. Furthermore, we experienced issues with our accounts, and the staff turnover was alarmingly high. Overall, I'm extremely disappointed and would not recommend this centre to anyone.
