Which childcare we send our daughters to was not a decision we took lightly. After searching and going to many childcare, we decided on Acorn ELC and looking back we can truly say that it was the best decision. The Centre is always clean and is bright and airy with lovely outdoor areas. Mary and her team of educators are the loveliest. They are always so helpful and would be willing to work with us if we have even the slightest question or concern about our daughters. We love Acorn so much that even after we moved house, we refused to move our daughter to a different childcare. Our daughters love their teachers, they love their friends. They thrived and settled in Acorn very easily, it feels like a second home. The food there is cooked fresh every day and tasted awesome (Nancy, the amazing cook allowed me to try them a few times :P). My fussy eaters always love the food there. If you are looking for a childcare with educators who genuinely care about your child and you can trust and programs that will help your children thrive, I would say, look no further!

One of the best early learning centre in the area. My daughter has been there since she was 9 months old and we had the best experience ever in terms of reliability and taking care of our child.The management is very organized and always improve themselves in order to provide the best care possible. My son has been attending Acorn ELC for nearly 4 years. From the very first day, our family was welcomed with open arms. My son has gone from strength to strength in his learning, confidence and social skills through the guidance and dedication from the staff. I cannot fault the centre at all! Under Mary’s leadership, her staff are a well oiled machine. Everything is spotless, each staff member greets me by name at pick up and drop off; reflective of the values that Mary instils in her team; to create a home away from home and a second family for the little Acorns. There has been hardly any turnover in staff in 4 years; reflective of the staff also feeling well supported and genuinely loving being at work. The communication I receive as a parent is fantastic, any small bump or bruise is recorded and I'm always given a call. I’ve since moved house from when we started but we will always commute to Acorn! Thank you for your ongoing care and love you bring to our lives each day.

I highly recommend this centre The dedication of the staff to the children is amazing. They have a nutritious food for the children. Their learning strategies preparing the children for school level. Dedicating to the children to learn the basic so that they don’t struggle at school toilet training as well!!!! my granddaughter has been there since three months,this year is her last but I know she will excel in school because of this centre that teaches the children and educate them. Mary and the team at Acorn ELC care deeply about our child and family. They're committed to our child's development and we've been happy with the care and extra activities they do at the centre. As a parent, entrusting someone else with your child’s care is never easy but Acorn Early Learning Centre has been nothing short of incredible. From the very first day, I felt completely at ease knowing my child was in such a warm, nurturing, and professional environment. The educators don’t just “look after” the children - they genuinely care. They take the time to get to know each child’s personality, interests, and needs, and you can see the effort they put into helping them grow socially, emotionally, and academically. My child has developed so much confidence, independence, and curiosity since joining Acorn. What I love most is the balance they provide: structured learning through play, creative activities, outdoor adventures, and plenty of one-on-one attention. The centre itself is always spotless, well-organised, and feels like a second home. Communication with parents is also fantastic—they keep me updated daily with photos, stories, and progress notes, which means so much. The staff are consistently kind, patient, and professional, and it’s obvious they love what they do. My child is always excited to go in the morning, and often doesn’t want to leave at the end of the day—that alone says everything! If you’re looking for a centre where your child will feel safe, valued, and encouraged to shine, I can’t recommend Acorn Early Learning Centre enough. They have truly exceeded every expectation. Our experience with this daycare has been extremely disheartening. From the very first meeting with the director, one educator, was making faces and giving stares that felt very unprofessional. Under her care, my son had six incident reports in a short period of time — but once the director changed his educator, those incidents stopped completely. That alone shows how much depends on the attitude and skill of the staff. At every pickup, I was met only with complaints — never once was I told what strategies were used to support my child or given anything positive about his day. The educators show little understanding of how to work with toddlers, and their expectations don’t reflect what any child development expert would recommend. The director even labeled my child “hyperactive” and spoke negatively about his future, which is completely inappropriate for a child not even 3 years old. I have a professional NDIS report about my child, and based on what it says, it’s clear the educators here need proper training in child development and behavior management. NDIS even offered suggestion and materials which I have not forwarded to them yet. It often feels like they care more about money than about the children. In my opinion, the quality of the educators here should be formally assessed by the national education board. Every child deserves patience, guidance, and understanding. Sadly, what we experienced was judgment, negativity, and a lack of professionalism. Our child is in a better place now, and we only wish this center had the knowledge, care, and respect to support him properly Dimitra

I'm so glad we got a spot in Acorn. The educators are so lovely and I am always at peace when I leave my child in the centre because I know she's in good hands. They always greet us with smiles in their faces. The centre is very clean ans organized. I frequently get updates and pictures of my daughter in the app and it is really comforting to know she is well looked after. Mary is so accomodating and really makes sure that all concerns are addressed as soon as possible. My daughter is always excited to go there and loves her teachers. Excellent centre!

We’ve been with Acorns for a number of years now. I find the staff to be so caring, 4 years in and I still find myself looking at the way my boys are treated and feeling utter comfort in leaving them there. They are on top of policies and procedures which means I know my kids are looked after not only emotionally but in all other aspects as well. It is a home away from home for my boys. The love and care the staff have for kiddos are second to none. Dealing with the daycare is easy, they’re always open to listening. Communication is top priority for the Owner Mary and it makes paperwork sorting light work. Thank you Acorns. I will continue recommending you guys to everyone I meet long after my boys have moved on to big school.
