We love having our kids at Little Lane. The physical environnement is amazing, with a beautiful garden, outdoor playgrounds and a rooftop - the kids are always outside! The staff is wonderful, and despite being a bigger center they know all the kids by their names. Special shoutout to the chef who caters to many children with severe allergies and still finds a way to create delicious fresh food for all. My kids now (unfortunately) request freshly baked foccacia at home too. The curriculum is detailed yet not over the top by leaving lots of room for fun and play. My pre schooler now has excellent literacy and numeracy skills thanks to his teachers and learns about the world, science, space but also art, music and overall how to be a good little human. I am so grateful for everything he's learned while at daycare. Thank you Little Lane team 🩷
Little Lane Early Learning Centre Manly is a family-owned early childhood education and care service. We are conveniently located in the heart of the Northern Beaches, close to Manly Beach. We are passionate about developing connections with the local community through regular excursions to the beach, local businesses and working collaboratively with local schools.
We are a purpose built service featuring large open classrooms, filled with natural light and resourced to promote inquiry-based learning through provocations and planned experiences based on children’s interests. We have large outdoor play spaces fostering children’s gross motor development and connections to the natural environment, this includes our roof top playground for the children to observe their community from above. We provide healthy nutritious meals made in our state of art commercial kitchen.
At Little Lane Manly we offer atelier experiences, exploring all aspects of visual arts such as drawing, painting, sculpture, light and collage. We provide the children over two with a Mandarin language immersion program. In addition, all ages engage in a weekly music program conducted by Wonder Music run during school terms.
Our Educators at Little Lane are dedicated and passionate about building strong, authentic and respectful relationships with each child and their family to truly understand and support their individual learning and developmental journey. We aim to ensure that each child’s early learning journey leads them to reach their full potential and develop a lifelong love of learning. Educators believe that children are in control of their own learning through exploration and their role is to facilitate and guide the children through their discoveries, provoking ideas and research to enhance the children’s understanding and learning influenced by the Reggio Emilia Approach.
