My daughter WENT to Modern Family Early Learning Cairns, she loved it at 1st but the centre soon turn to 💩 after the main stay Director left in March. After that, there was a rapid decline in care and management, with a high turnover of staff coming and going; we have recently left as the issues weren't resolved and didn't seem to be looking to get better anytime soon. I dont appreciate turning up daily to new staff who dont introduce themselves and the lack of communication to parents by management to let us know about these new staff who have started was nil. So if you want quality care, continuity and stability this centre isnt for you. Any attempts to make complaints or suggestions were met with excuses by management and never came across as being taken seriously. When we started at the centre, the feel and vibe was great, I couldnt really fault the place, now though, wouldnt send my worst enemies child there. As someone who works in child care, its really disappointing to see a centre decline so much, but also see you as a parent and your child become just a number and money source. Would I recommend the centre, in a word, NO. Sadly, even the good staff cant hold that place up and keep the once happy and loving vibe going.
