Welcome to Lollipop Lane Kindergarten and Early Education Centre

A proud member of the Burleigh Heads community for nearly 30 years, Lollipop Lane Kindergarten and Early Education Centre supports families with enriching care and play-based learning. Catering to children from 3 months to 6 years, the centre provides stimulating programs delivered by a passionate team of early learning professionals.

Operating out of two large federation buildings, the homely centre is warm and welcoming, with a range of sensory spaces for learning and development. Children are cared for in age-specific rooms that are light and bright, with colourful furniture and a wide selection of toys, books and play equipment.

Outside, there are three well-shaded play areas with wide expanses of lawn for bike riding, plus sandpits and climbing equipment where children hone their motor, physical, social and cognitive skills. The centre is fortunate to have a heated swimming pool, and provides small group swimming lessons for children from AustSwim certified Educators.

Conveniently located close to Marymount school, Tree Tops plaza and Stocklands Burleigh Heads, the centre is easily found with its distinctive ‘bear on the roof’. Why not book a tour of this fun and friendly centre today?

Programs Meet the team Parent communication and involvement About the curriculum

The holistic programs at Lollipop Lane are designed to build happy, confident, and active learners, with activities including arts and crafts, gardening, music, dance, yoga, singing, and even onsite swimming lessons.

Learn To Swim

The centre has a small, outdoor heated pool, and offers water safety and learn to swim programs during the summer months for children aged 3 and up. Classes have a maximum of 4 children, and are run by an AusSwim qualified swim teacher/educator with a second educator supporting.

Yoga helps the children’s body, mind, strength, flexibility and breathing. Educators deliver yoga in every room at 9.30 daily to encourage good health, wellbeing - and fun!

The Sports program helps children develop basic skill fundamentals, including motor development, self-esteem, and social and cognitive development. There are three lessons weekly, including one run by the centre’s sports partner, Phoenix.

Cooking is fun, engaging and an important teaching tool. Following directions, organising ingredients and using their thinking skills, cooking promotes curiosity and problem solving. It also lays the foundation for healthy eating habits.

Music And Dance

Music, singing, dance and movement are part of the “everyday awesome” at Lollipop Lane, and integral to the centre’s “PLAY GROW LEARN” philosophy. Music and movement play a very important developmental role, with benefits including healthy brain development, enhanced communication skills, creativity, physical skills and confidence.

The gardening program introduces children to nature, sustainability and nutrition. Children tend to fruit and vegetable plants that are then used in cooking classes.  Being involved in every step of the growing process helps promote responsibility and pride in healthy eating choices.
