When I became a mum for the first time, I was very anxious about what I would do when time came to put my baby girl into daycare, it was so overwhelming and emotional and I couldn’t see myself just leaving my baby girl go into daycare and not be overwhelmed with my choices of did I pick the right place to leave my daughter, but all the hesitation and anxiety just went away as soon as I went into the daycare to do a tour, it was extremely welcoming and such a lovely place that I knew she would grow and thrive with the teachers. They had such a wonderful feeling and made me feel like I was leaving my daughter with family and that she would always be cared for, the most welcoming and supportive teachers have helped my daughter absolutely thrive and they encouraged her to be herself and they built her learning around her personality and capabilities and they encouraged her and she adores going to daycare and I absolutely can’t thank the team enough for encouraging her and welcomed her like family from the first day and the curriculum is very supportive and they encourage her to be herself and they honestly are on top of everything, if there was anything that they wanted to know, they would call me, if there was anything that we requested from them they were more than happy to help. If I had any questions we had they always a response that would ease my anxiety (for the first few days ) and after I saw that she was excited to go, I knew that we made the best choice If you are looking for a safe, secure, friendly, caring, supportive and loving place to put your little baby I would absolutely recommend you check out cheeky monkeys, they are not just educators, they make the learning experience fun and they feel like they have accomplished something great. Honestly it’s the best decision we ever made and I give them 100% credit for encouraging my daughter to learn and love learning. They are part of the family now and the team are amazing 🤩 🐵🐒

We’re so happy we found Cheeky Monkey Day Care Centre. My 3-year-old son absolutely loves going there and always comes home happy and excited to tell us about his day. The educators are so kind and caring, and it’s clear they genuinely love what they do. We feel very lucky to have found such a lovely place for him. 😊

Cheeky Monkeys Day Care Centre is a family-owned long day care service that has proudly supported local families since 2006. Licensed for 28 children per day, we cater for children aged 12 months to 6 years in a warm, nurturing and personalised environment where every child is known and valued.
At Cheeky Monkeys, we believe each child is unique. Our program builds on individual strengths while encouraging children to explore their potential, develop confidence, and become curious, capable learners. We support children to ask questions, investigate their world, and form a strong sense of belonging as they learn to play, collaborate and build meaningful relationships with others.
We strive to be an extension of home, creating a space where children feel loved, accepted and secure. Through engaging experiences, we foster independence, resilience and a lifelong love of learning, supporting children to grow socially, emotionally and academically.
We offer two learning groups: our Under 3’s Group, focused on security and early development, and our 3–5 Year Old Group, which encourages independence and school readiness. Our Preschool Program, led by qualified Early Childhood Teachers, prepares children for a confident transition to school.
We provide a nutritious daily lunch, with families supplying Crunch & Sip. Our program is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework V2.0 and the National Quality Standard, ensuring high-quality education and care that builds strong foundations for life.
