Even though we had been keenly awaiting the opening of Oz Ed Wyong, I was anxious about changing from the daycare our child was established in. That anxiety melted away very quickly once he started at Oz Ed as I saw how seamlessly he settled in. The educators in his room clearly demonstrate that they are building a positive rapport with him by getting to know who he is as an individual and by communicating how he interacts with his peers. Our praise is not only for the educators in the his room, but also the educators from the adjacent rooms. As we have a demanding schedule currently, we often interact with these educators at the end of the day and find that they are attentive and friendly. Since starting to attend Oz Education, he has met milestones that had felt out of reach. From simple things such as drinking milk from a cup more confidently, to more crucial langiage milestones. Having certain behaviours modelled by his peers and encouraged by his educators is clearly having a positive impact due to social learning. All the seemingly small details, like the educators all wearing their SunSmart, wide brimmed hats, has had such a positive impact. We love that you guys lead by example. I also find the clear communication on medical conditions comforting. The fact that you have pictures of kids with medical conditions in each room and his picture on his medical bag is fantastic. Thank you for making the transition so easy and for providing a stimulating and positive environment for our son.
