I completed 6 childcare tours around the area and instantly knew Bira was the one! I have always raved about it to other parents who are seeking childcare in the area. Our son started there when he was 1yo and currently completing his last year with their 4yo kinder program. I've already placed my second son on the waitlist when he was born recently! It is a lovely community and can whole-heartedly say I trust sending my son there everyday knowing he is happy and learning life skills (he was there full time at one stage). The administrative staff are always helpful and prompt with their communication. The educators go above and beyond with combining fun, care and also embedding the centre's values and curriculum.The staff retention was one of the main things we love - you know the staff are looked after too. The app is easy to use and navigate with daily posts/photos. They have an in-house chef so I know my kids are well nourished with their seasonal menus. There is a local GP that attends monthly which is a lovely bonus if required. They often organise community events so you can meet other families and spend time with your child in their element. Bira is like a second home for us!

The educators are caring, attentive and make us feel reassured that our child is well looked after throughout the day. It’s clear they put effort into creating a safe and nurturing environment, and we appreciate the updates and support as our child continues to settle and grow. Honestly the BEST centre ever. We moved our son over from another centre and the difference in his development, general happiness at daycare, and comfortability with drop offs etc. are like day and night. He learns, laughs, plays, and dances his days away. The staff are all long lifers and know all the children very well. Couldn’t speak highly enough of the centre and the team. Massive centre, heaps of out door space, beautiful separate kitchen and dining hall…Thank you for everything you do for our children!

My placement at Bira Bira has been fantastic. The educators are kind and respectful. Bira Bira provides the children with the upmost education and care. Giving the children opportunity to develop and learn in a safe environment, I'm very grateful to witness this in person as a student. Before coming to Bira Bira, our family had a very difficult experience at another centre. Our child was often upset, crying at drop-off and we did not feel he was settled, happy, or properly supported. Since starting at Bira Bira, the change has been incredible. Even though we travel from Carrum, we continue to make the drive because the difference has been worth it. Within a short time, our child bonded with his educators, became happy to attend, and now walks in feeling safe and comfortable and even waves goodbye to me, something I never thought I’d see him do! In only five months, we have seen such growth in his speech, confidence, independence, self-help skills, and learning. At just 2.5 years old, he comes home sharing things he has learned, using new words, singing new songs, showing more independence, and surprising us with what he is capable of. As parents, we have been blown away by the difference. Bira Bira has given our child not just care, but security, confidence, learning, and a sense of belonging. We are so grateful we found the centre The educators are so nurturing, patient and genuinely caring. You can feel the warmth the moment you walk in. Thank you for creating such a safe and loving space for our boy. It means more than you know.

We’ve had a fantastic experience with this centre. The communication is exceptional — the office team is always responsive, helpful and genuinely supportive. The educators are warm, friendly and clearly care about the children. The kindergarten teachers run an outstanding program and are incredible with the kids, striking a great balance between learning and play. The facilities are excellent and very well maintained. I would highly recommend this centre to any family looking for a safe, nurturing and well-run environment.

This place has been a home for our two children over the past 4–5 years, and we honestly could not be happier. We visited quite a few centres before choosing Bira, and it was absolutely the right decision. The facility is fantastic, and the staff are brilliant. Our son, who is now in prep, still loves popping back in to say hello to the team when we pick up our daughter — which says a lot about the relationships they build here. I really appreciate the diversity/wide range of nationalities of the educators and the way they celebrate cultures, traditions, and events from around the world. They make a huge effort on this front and it is fantastic. These kids walk out more aware, open-minded, and worldly than many adults today. Our children have developed so well in every way, and I love hearing them talk about different countries, cultures, foods, and experiences. We also love the effort they put into bringing in animals, incorporating outdoor learning, and teaching the children about the environment. Our kids genuinely enjoy coming to Bira, and they’re learning things we wish we had learned at their age. The centre’s values align perfectly with ours. This is not just a place for children to be baby sat this is a place children (and parents) actually get real value from. We will 100% miss Bira Bira and the entire team when our daughter finishes up. Plus Dad's get a free beer on fathers day - simple things like make the whole experience superb. Thank you guys.

I couldn’t recommend Bira Bira more highly. Three of my children have been through this beautiful centre, and the care, love, and support they’ve received has been second to none.
