The educators are genuinely warm and always take the time to share little details about our child's day. We are so thankful to see our little one so settled and actually excited to go in every morning.

Do not go to this childcare centre! Educators are so rude to children and would shout at them and drag them but the arm. This centre is investigated by the authorities for valid reasons! It is also quite cultural exclusive so their level of english and communication skills are questionable. Keep your children away from this place.

We’ve had such a lovely experience with Little Shining Star. Both my son and daughter have been going there, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the care they’ve received. From the very beginning, the staff made us feel welcome and at ease. They’re so warm, patient, and genuinely caring. The communication has been great too. I really appreciate the regular updates, photos, and little notes about how their day went. It’s clear the educators take the time to get to know each child and what makes them feel safe and happy. What I love most is how much thought they put into everything, from the healthy meals to the creative activities that help the kids learn and grow in their own way. It’s more than just child care, it’s a place where my children feel loved, encouraged, and part of a little community. Thank you for giving both my kids such a wonderful start. We feel very lucky to have found you.

My twins have been going to the centre for almost a year now. I have seen them growing and learning every day. The staff has been really friendly and helpful every time. My kids look forward to going there every morning and this is really reassuring of their wellbeing. I cannot thank enough everybody at the centre for taking care of my children.

An early learning centre in Adelaide's north-eastern suburbs, Little Shining Stars Early Learning Centre at Klemzig, is currently under investigation by South Australia's Education Standards Board (ESB) for taking and storing "inappropriate" images of children. These images were reportedly taken to document nappy rash and minor injuries. The investigation began in early May after a parent complained about "inappropriate discipline." During their inquiry, ESB officers discovered "photos taken of children in care to evidence nappy rash and minor scratches and grazes." While the ESB believes this was a "misguided arrangement or process to evidence injury or nappy rash" with no "malicious intent," they deemed it inappropriate. The ESB seized devices containing these images and referred the matter to the SA Police. However, police found no evidence to warrant criminal charges. As a result of the investigation, the ESB issued an emergency action notice directing Little Shining Stars to: * Notify the families of all children enrolled during the times the photos were taken. * Engage a counselling service for affected children and their families. * Reset all service devices and permanently delete the images. * Amend its policies and procedures to align with national regulations. Little Shining Stars has stated that all parents have been notified, and they have reviewed and amended their procedures, including implementing a Photograph Policy that prohibits taking photos of children's injuries and requires the deletion of all photos after three months. Additionally, emergency action notices were issued to four other Little Shining Stars centres (Pooraka, Virginia, Wayville, and Evanston) concerning the practice of taking and storing images of injuries. In a separate matter, the service provider also terminated the employment of three female workers following a parent's complaint that children were being tapped on the head during nap times. The ESB has indicated that the investigation is ongoing, and further regulatory action, including prosecution, may be taken. They have also emphasised their commitment to children's safety and encourage the public to report any concerns about early childhood education and care services.

My child loves going to daycare and has formed so many positive relationships both with the children and educators. All staff and educators are friendly and obliging. My child is a meat eater and whilst the menu is vegetarian based, my daughter loves the food and never comes home hungry. I couldn't recommend this centre enough

Absolutely lovely staff and amazing centre. Loved how we could go to work peacefully knowing our little one was well looked after. Our little one grew up with them and was always so happy when I would peek through the windows when I went to pick him up. Highly recommend this center

Such an amazing childcare. I was so anxious about sending my son to childcare as he was a very fussy eater and little shining stars provided fabulous support in making that journey easier for me and my son. They really adapt to every child's needs and help them make comfortable and feel safe in their environment. I lfeel so blessed to have found such a child care. They have very good and nutritious food they provide during the day and I never saw my saw coming home hungry after the long day at child care. such an amazing staff and always ready to welcome the parents and provide feedback about the child's day. I am really surprised by the way they have nurtured such a beautiful relationship with my son and would recommend this childcare to all the parents. Farah, Hetal, Naomi and all the staff are doing a fantastic job and as always its a pleasure dealing with them.

My son has been at Little Shining Stars for about three years. He's made some good friends there, and he's been well cared for by the friendly staff. The childcare centre has been really good for his educational and social development.
