Little Ducks Childcare New Farm is a privately owned centre run by long term, caring and dedicated early learning professionals. Catering to children from 0 to 6 years, the centre provides long day care, early learning and Kindergarten programs. The passionate team fosters children’s holistic growth and development, in a warm, inclusive and nurturing environment.
The purpose-built centre features excellent facilities including light-filled interiors with sensory elements, and ample space for reading, imaginative play and learning. Educators present a fun and stimulating program, which allows children to comfortably learn at their own pace and in their own way.
Educators organise regular outdoor activities, and children are encouraged to explore the age-appropriate equipment. This includes balance blocks and climbing frames, a sandpit, mini basketball hoop and bike tracks. Children also learn about and connect with nature by tending to the vegetable gardens, and through fun incursions such as the Henny Penny chicken hatching program.
Located just 300 metres from James Street, the centre has parking at hand for easy drop offs and pick ups. Why not book a tour of this friendly and family-orientated centre today?

Our son has been attending Little Ducks Childcare New Farm for the past 4 months, and he is 20 months old. The staff at Little Ducks Childcare New Farm are incredibly professional and caring. They always greet us with a smile and make an effort to know each child personally. Ms. Alexandra, our son's main caregiver, is fantastic at engaging the kids with fun and educational activities. The facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained. The classrooms are bright and filled with age-appropriate toys and learning materials. The outdoor play area is spacious and secure, which gives us peace of mind. The communication with parents is excellent and the center has a very good manager "Hannah" . We receive weekly updates through the story park, including photos and a summary of activities. The staff are always available to discuss any concerns and provide regular progress reports. If you're looking for a child care center that genuinely cares about your child's development and well-being, look no further than Little Ducks. We wholeheartedly recommend them!" Read more

In January 2012 the National Quality Framework (NQF) came into effect across Australia.
The purpose of the NQF is to improve and standardise the quality of child care through a
range of measures including better staff to child ratios, higher staff qualifications
and an assessment and rating system designed to promote continuous improvement.
Under the NQF child care services are assessed and rated against the National Quality Standards (NQS).
The NQS measures the quality of early childhood education and care in Australia. It will cover
most long day care, family day care, preschool/kindergarten and outside school hours care services.
Under these standards child care services will be assessed and rated against the
seven quality areas, 18 standards and 58 elements that make up the NQS.
