She has a created a safe and nurturing environment that has helped them both to thrive and has enabled my oldest to transition to Kindy with ease. She goes above and beyond for children and their parents and has really become part of our "village" in raising our children. My daughter started with Basma at 4 months old and then my son started from a similar age. Our family has benefited so much from Basma’s care - she fosters connection, healthy behaviour development and she creates a positive learning environment for different ages and stages. Basma also went above and beyond for our family, supporting us while our son went through 2 years of cancer treatment in to remission. His care inevitably required extra precautions and rigour during this period, which Basma handled like a boss. Our son could not have been in safer hands - his health was protected, he was always happy and he built strong friendships with his little day care family that wouldn’t have been possible without Basma. She has a special place in our family and I will always recommend her family day care to others! Read more

I am a parent and we have been with Basma Family daycare for almost 2 years, we have really loved every minute of it. Basma is so warm and caring with our children, and such a great communicator, as well as educator (as parents we all love that)! I always have peace of mind knowing my children are happy and content in her care. So many great activities are on offer whether it be indoors or outdoors there is always such a variety of fantastic learning and opportunity. Our children just love it and look forward to going each time. It’s been really lovely having Basmas support and care, she loves seeing our children grow and develop which is really special for us all. Definitely would recommend for all aspects of childcare. Basma’s family day care has been our first introduction into family day care and we couldn’t have been happier with the care and professionalism that Basma has shown us. Our son loves his day care routine with Basma and we feel he receives a one-on-one care that is harder to achieve at the larger centres. His smiles and enthusiasm for his ‘school’ is testament to a wonderful nurturing environment and a happy space. Basma has since been like a family member to us. My son absolutely loves her, "Basma this and Basma that!" :) Her dedication, motivation and love for childcare shines through when you see how happy and fulfilled the children are. I get so many compliments of how advanced my son is for his age and I credit this to Basma and her educational skillset. Our daughter has a close bond with Basma and it is evident that she genuinely loves the kids she cares for. My son was just over 1 year old when he started and we feel so blessed to have found such a wonderful home away from home for our boy. Basma provides such a fun, energetic and stimulating environment for the children - which is evident in the smiles on the childrens' faces. My initial fears about my baby not sleeping away from home were soon alleviated with Basma reassuring me that she has had over 20 years of experience in family daycare.
