I would like to express my concerns regarding the care my child has received in the preschool 1 room, particularly when preschool 2... I would like to express my concerns regarding the care my child has received in the preschool 1 room, particularly when preschool 2 educators have been assigned to supervise the children due to staffing shortages. Unfortunately, I have observed several instances where the educators’ conduct has been less than acceptable. On multiple occasions, I have witnessed them raising their voices and even shouting at the children, which I find both unprofessional and distressing. Additionally, there have been situations where the educators have closed the door and taken the children to the backyard for evening play, seemingly unaware of the parents' presence. On one occasion, I rang the bell repeatedly to pick up my child, but despite the educator being in the vicinity, she failed to acknowledge my presence or inform her colleagues that I was waiting. This lack of communication is concerning. Furthermore, I have noticed instances where my child’s belongings have been mishandled. Other children’s blankets have been used for my son, despite his belongings being clearly labeled. This lack of attention to detail and respect for personal property is unacceptable. Most worryingly, I have observed a significant change in my son’s behavior. After a few weeks in the preschool 2 room, he has become noticeably unhappy, which leads me to believe that the environment and the treatment he is receiving may be contributing to his distress. Given these experiences, I would strongly advise against sending children to this preschool. The lack of proper care, poor treatment of the children, and lack of communication make it clear that the educators do not prioritize the well-being of the children under their care. Read more
