Just wanted to say thank you and the team for your daily updates and pictures of Charlie you upload. It makes a big difference to my day and the way I feel about not being there with Charlie on a daily basis.
The recent update the team has written about Charlie belonging just took my breath away. Thank you for taking time to write about him and his progress but most importantly taking the time and interest to know him so well and for the desire to help him in further development.
I feel that it has been written with a lot of genuine care and love for him and there’s nothing more I could wish for. A day hasn’t gone by without me questioning and doubting myself about my decision to have him in a day care while I have to work but reading through the update your team has put together gives me nothing but confidence about my choice so thank you for that.

Liam has become more independent and is inspired constantly to explore new skills and activities. I’m impressed with the way the staff treat the children like they are their own and encourage values that we all need in life such as sympathy, respect and love. They even go the extra distance to show that they really care when times are tough in our family lives or just to encourage us as parents.

The educators at Little Miracles see each child as a unique individual with a wide range of needs, skills, interests and learning styles. The experiences prepared by the educators are developmentally appropriate and safe, making the most of the natural outdoor environments.
The educators understand that children learn best when they can be curious and explore their environment spontaneously. They focus on teaching the children through play situations, direct ‘hands on’ interest-based experiences and positive interactions with a range of people, materials and equipment.
The centre has a focus on literacy and reading, with all ages taking part in their program that aims to have little ones reading before they go to school.
For all age groups, the centre uses a play based learning approach where children choose to participate and activities are based on the children’s interests. The types of skills that they will develop through these activities include:
The rooms at the centre are as follows:
The educators at Little Miracles see each child as unique and full of untapped potential. They seek to create an environment where each child feels loved, valued, safe and free to develop to be the best that they can be. The centre works closely with parents, to support them on their parenting adventure.
At Little Miracles, the educators are encouraged to grow and thrive both personally and professionally. Their strengths, skills and talents are recognised and celebrated. They see their educators as their biggest asset.
The educators celebrate the centre’s diverse community, and welcome the wider neighbourhood to educate, guide and inspire the children. They create a homely atmosphere where children feel comfortable, relaxed, nurtured and secure in respectful relationships.
I am honoured to be able to work with and lead a wonderful team of educators here at Point Clare. I am so passionate about giving all children the best possible education and care in their early childhood years . I love engaging with families to support their children to reach their full potential as they learn, explore and develop in all areas.

In January 2012 the National Quality Framework (NQF) came into effect across Australia.
The purpose of the NQF is to improve and standardise the quality of child care through a
range of measures including better staff to child ratios, higher staff qualifications
and an assessment and rating system designed to promote continuous improvement.
Under the NQF child care services are assessed and rated against the National Quality Standards (NQS).
The NQS measures the quality of early childhood education and care in Australia. It will cover
most long day care, family day care, preschool/kindergarten and outside school hours care services.
Under these standards child care services will be assessed and rated against the
seven quality areas, 18 standards and 58 elements that make up the NQS.
