This daycare deserves so much more than 5 stars, I could not recommend this daycare enough. It’s such a beautiful daycare the educators are amazing, incredibly kind and were amazing with my son. I have found that at other childcares I have come across educators that come off judgemental towards me being a young single mum but every single educator at this daycare has been supportive and loving since the day I had my son come to this daycare. You can tell that these educators pour their hearts into their work and love every child around them. They never leave any children out they always include all of them in activities and games, they always give a warm welcome and goodbye. When I first had my son come to this daycare it was his first one and I was extremely nervous as I was unfamiliar with daycares but the educators ensured me that they were a loving daycare and that I could trust them and I’m so grateful I decided to stick with this daycare it was everything I needed but more for my son. If you are a worried parent that is looking for a daycare in Canberra with loving caring and supportive educators that you can trust I strongly recommend this one.

Have edited my review as it has been taken down, have tidied it up in attempt to not violate in any of Google's policies. However, in November 2021 My family and I recently moved to Canberra from Brisbane and decided to enroll our daughter in this childcare center because of its good reviews, location and rating on the ACECQA. However we were appalled with the lack of quality in care and communication from this center. We had experienced the following major issues among others. My daughter started to develop very severe nappy rash while attending the facility due to them not changing her nappy frequently enough. To the point where she started to develop multiple sores on her bottom as a result of the sustained nappy rash. She was in a high amount of pain because of these sores, to the point she couldn't even walk properly. Staff failed to inform us that nappy rash was starting to form on her bottom. Given the severity of her rash, this should have been communicated immediately as it is a medical issue that is very hard to miss. At pick ups My wife were only occasionally informed how our daughter was during the day with regards to eating, sleeping and behaviour. Given her age this was important information for continuity of her care for the rest of the day. We ultimately decided to withdraw our child from this center only after a 6 week period which this withdrawal notice was lost in communication as we were nearly billed for a period after we withdrew her. It was only lucky that we had an email chain to prove that we notified the center that we were withdrawing her. I recommend going to other child cares as our child was not well looked after, and the other child cares we have put our child in far exceed the quality of service this service has provided. For example in addition to the above issues this child care does not even provide lunch and are more expensive that other child cares that do.

I got the best service from Civic Early Childhood Centre. I found the director Juliana Teaurima extremely helpful, caring and professional. She has an excellent team. My son attend there for 4 years and he enjoyed there so much. All educators are very helpful. I strongly recommend CECC for your children.

My son absolutely love going to this childcare, staff is professional and hardworking. Highly recommended!

My daughter has attended CECC for the last 2 1/2 years, she has loved every minute of it, educators are attentive, communicate well and understanding of needs of each child. She was able to build strong relationships with a number of educators in each room she moved to, and while those particular educators were her favourite she was completely comfortable with ALL staff. The director is Knowledgable and willing to work with each and every family so they feel special, the educators are inclusive and understanding of many cultures and are able to adapt well to the needs of each child. We are sad to be moving on to preschool and leaving their incredible care behind, it truly is like one big family!

Both of our daughters attend here and we totally love this centre. All the educators are lovely and helpful. They are happy and have learned a lot.

My son has been going to this center since he was 6 months old and is taken care of very well. The center director and staff are very approachable and friendly. We always feel comfortable discussing our needs with them and my son absolutely loves going to this day care. Highly recommended!

Our daughter has been going to Civic Early Childhood Centre for over a year now, and she is so happy and well cared for there. She has made strong friendships with the other children and the staff. All the educators are supportive, nurturing, and kind. We feel very fortunate that we have found this place for our daughter and we are confident that she is getting the best care and support in her development.
