I've thought long and hard about whether or not to leave this review as I don't believe any of the educators at this centre are bad per say, but I do feel the need to caution other parents because Guardian Allara certainly didn't provide our family with five-star care. During the 5 months our toddler attended Guardian Allara, she was so consistently sick that we were convinced she had a food allergy. We were in our doctors office every other week and spent over $400 on an immunologist. In reality, our daughter had no allergies, but was actually experiencing recurrent illnesses which stunted her development (as confirmed by a medical specialist). Our toddler experienced symptoms of gastro almost non-stop for over 2 months and would often develop hives while attending the centre. She never broke out in hives anywhere else. We gave Guardian Allara the benefit of the doubt and gave them cot sheets from home and changed the type of milk we were giving her. Guardian Allara used our cot sheets for one week and provided no suggestions as to what could be causing our toddler's issues despite the fact that they were only occurring while she was at the centre. To give them credit where credit is due, they did assist us in keeping a food diary which we were very appreciative of. When we finally got some answers from the immunologist and doctor, we made the decision to remove our toddler from Guardian Allara. The centre manager tried to tell me that kids always get this sick when starting daycare, however, Guardian Allara was not the first daycare our daughter attended. We did not have any of these issues with her previous daycare and we do not have any of these issues with her current daycare. Since removing our daughter from Guardian Allara, our daughter has started developing rapidly and we no longer worry about delays. In addition to all of this, I would often find my daughter playing alone at pick-up. On a fair few occasions, she would have a dirty nappy that was "just about" to be changed. She often had nappy rash and would occasionally be inconsolable at pick-up. None of this has occurred since we moved her to a different daycare provider. Although there are some great educators at Guardian Allara, the centre is filthy and I question the overall level of care. Read more

We couldn’t be happier with the care our child receives here. The educators are warm, patient, and genuinely invested in each child’s wellbeing and development. Every day our little one comes home with new words, stories, and a big smile — it’s clear they feel safe and loved. The communication from staff is fantastic, and we love getting updates and photos throughout the day. Thank you for creating such a nurturing environment — it’s made a huge difference for our family. My son has been attending full-time since he was 12 weeks old and I cannot fault the team for the love they have given to our family. The centre rarely has outbreaks of illness and the educators are so attentive to children’s needs. Having a child in care so young was made easier knowing the team were caring and understanding of him, as well as my needs as a parent. Read more
