Toured here. They do "progressive feeding" for toddlers. They only feed 5-6 children at a time. If your child likes to sleep, or not as "hungry" or arrived at 10.30am they will not be fed first. Very cruel to do especially to such young children. Maybe some parents are okay with this but really food should be available for all children at the same time. Not when the educator determines who needs to be fed first. Pretty disgusted really. I could only see 1 table for eating on my tour. I hope they get another if they dont have one and do the right thing. The reason for 2 stars is The educators are very friendly and bubbly and director knew the names of all children nearby. Update: in Response to reply to review. I was told on tour only 5 or 6 children at a time. I was given the example of 10.30 and those sleeping longer. And it seemed implied that the educators knew who needed to be fed first. I looked up progressive feeding and in its true form is meant to be for flexible eating when the child is hungry. However, I was given different examples on tour. Toddlers take a long time to eat so I hope the others are not waiting an unreasonable time for their food.

Hi Rebekah, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback following your tour. We understand that different families have different expectations around mealtimes, and we appreciate the opportunity to clarify our approach. In our toddler space, we implement progressive mealtimes, which are designed to support children’s individual routines, hunger cues, and emotional readiness. Rather than requiring all children to sit and eat at a fixed time, meals are offered across a calm and flexible window. Any child who indicates they are hungry is supported to eat, and no child is denied food. This approach is widely recognised in early childhood practice as a way to respect children’s autonomy and natural rhythms. We also have appropriate meal spaces in each room to support children’s needs. During tours, timing can sometimes mean families observe different parts of the daily routine, including rest periods, which may not fully reflect how the environment operates across the entire day. We value that you found our educators welcoming and engaged. If you would like to learn more about our practices or discuss them further, you are welcome to contact our Family Support Team on 1800 222 543.

My son has been going to the day care for the last 7 months. As this was his first day care an he had never been in anyone else’s care but mine and my husbands it was a challenging time for him and myself adjusting to this change. I wanted to give this centre and all the educators an absolute shout out in regards to how they welcomed me and my son in to the centre. Days where my son struggled to seperate in the mornings, they took the extra time to spend with him and calm him down. I truly would recommend this centre to all my friends and family as they have become like a part of our family. I absolutely love that all the educators go above and beyond for my child! It makes my day go a lot easier when I leave him and know he is well taken care off. I’m looking forward to one more year of kindy for my son and the things he will learn this year. Well done guys please keep doing what you are doing now!

As a parent and educator, I am very happy with the service and would recommend. My child is very happy attending and is learning daily. He has built many friendships. Educators are all qualified, welcoming and respectful. Food is provided which definitely helps!
