Our one year old loves his educator friends at little stars! We are first time parents and we were so nervous about leaving him in care at seven months old, however, he quickly grew from only wanting mum and dad to loving his time at Little Stars. It is beautiful and reassuring to see our shy baby reach out to excited educators for a hold and hug. We were absent for three weeks and upon recognising the building, bub beamed brilliantly while babbling and pumping his arms in excitement. Everyday there are familiar, friendly faces who are genuinely happy and excited to see him. It is also so refreshing to see management so active in creating engaging opportunities for our babies. When we pick him up he is immersed in play and activities with interactive educators who also allow and encourage him to explore while providing an active, caring presence. We're so happy - our bub is thriving at Little Stars!

In our Kangaroo Room, we are proud to offer a stimulating and engaging Kindergarten program designed to equip 4 to 6-year-olds with the skills they need for a successful lifelong learning journey. Our approach is based on play, as we believe that children learn best when they are having fun and actively exploring the world around them.

We foster positive social interactions and encourage lateral thinking, giving children the tools they need to succeed in school and beyond.

Centre philosophy

Centre philosophy

At Little Stars Early Education Centre, we foster a culture of integrity, trust, and compassion among our educators. Thoughtful and reflective, they prioritize their well-being to deliver their best to children and families. They exemplify respect, honesty, and harmony in all interactions.

Our educators celebrate diversity, nurturing positive self-esteem in every child. Through play, children experience joy, self-expression, and unleash their creativity. It empowers them to make decisions and fosters confidence and a positive self-image.

Play is not just fun, but a vital learning tool, allowing children to explore, investigate, and develop in an enjoyable way. It empowers them with a sense of control and understanding of the world around them. At Little Stars, play is the key to happy and confident children ready to embrace their journey of growth!

Our Philosophy

Little Stars Early Education Centre was formed on the lands of the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation. We acknowledge Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Peoples as the Traditional Custodians of this country and their connection to the land, water and community in which we operate. We pay our respect to them, their cultures and customs both past and present.

Educators work with integrity and trust, with children, families and each other. Educators are thoughtful and reflective, taking the time for themselves to recharge so their work practices are at their full potential. We recognise that educators are role models for the children and that they learn from us as examples. Educators demonstrate appropriate behaviour and communication, they are respectful, honest and work in a harmonious and calm manner.

All children will have an equal opportunity to learn and will be respected and not discriminated against no matter what gender, age, ability, economic status, family structure, ethnicity, lifestyle, religion, culture or language. We will educate children about differences between children, families and communities and help to promote positive self-esteem in all children. We will ensure families with additional needs are included and will offer any support, guidance and assistance needed. Little Stars Early Education Centre, We value the importance of play because it is through play that children have fun, enjoy themselves and are able to express and let their creative side out. Play is important as it allows children to make decisions in a world dominated by adults which results in a happy and confident child that has a positive self-image of oneself. Play is a way that children are able to learn and investigate the world and also further their development in a fun way, this provides the child with a sense of power.

What the parents say

What the parents say

After touring 7 different childcare centres I almost gave up my search until I came across Little Stars. The layout with the newly renovated facilities are perfect for my active toddler. From day one they have always strived to accommodate any requirements I've requested and has provided me with great support to my family on this new endeavour. A big thank you to all the staff from management, chef and educators for doing a wonderful job operating a centre that ticks all the boxes. Well done to the team for also creating an educational yet 'family feel' environment for our children, its certainly a refreshing approach that stands out from the rest.

Newly renovated centre with approachable and friendly educators. Highly recommend this centre if you truly want to feel at home and apart of a family. Will continually recommend to people I know :)

Little Stars has really transformed since the renovation, beautiful, inviting and safe space for young kids to thrive and develop. The staff are always caring and attentive to the kids, especially to my son who loves going there everyday! Thankyou to the kind and friendly staff Miriam and Ghiwa and the lovely educators Aparna who's always supportive and informing how my son is. Couldn't be happier with the centre!

Little stars has improved a lot in its educational environment and changed every single furniture and space to give children a better place to spend their growth and achieve their future goals.
A new experience of fun has been offered and Kinder funding will starts soon in the centre, everyone is welcome to join and participate to this additional improvement of the centre.

The staff here are very caring and professional , your kids will be in very good hands and feel belonging this family
Well done Little Stars, keep bright

Our children attend Little Stars, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. My children — especially my oldest — struggle with change and need time to feel comfortable with new people and routines. Settling into childcare has not always been easy for him. The staff at Little Stars were incredibly understanding, patient and kind. They truly took the time to respect his pace, giving him the space and reassurance he needed to feel safe and confident. The difference has been amazing. Now, in the mornings, the first thing he asks is whether we’re going to Little Stars — and he actually cheers when I say yes. That alone speaks volumes. The educators are absolutely incredible, and I feel so grateful knowing my children are cared for with such warmth and compassion. I couldn’t recommend this childcare centre highly enough. Thank you!
