Treasured Tots Early Education Piara Waters

The curriculum at Treasured Tots Early Education is based on the belief that children are capable, creative, curious and resourceful learners. The educators provide the children with opportunities to play an active role in their education and tailor the curriculum based on conversations and interactions with the children.

The curriculum respects the individual skills and strengths of each child and takes a holistic approach to learning. This encompasses learning through the physical environment, relationships and interactions, resources and routines. Families also have opportunities to provide input into their child’s learning through the daily book, which the educators use as the basis for the activities each day.

The Wellness Program at Treasured Tots Early Education is built on three key pillars of resilience, wellbeing and awareness. The program is designed to build self-esteem, resilience and emotional regulation skills in the children that they will carry with them for life and support their transition to school. 

The Wellness Program incorporates art, movement, mindfulness and physical activities to help the children understand themselves, their emotions and the world around them. There is also a nutrition element to the program to provide a holistic education about the importance of a healthy body and a healthy mind.

Sustainability education is also embedded into the centre program. The educators teach the children about their role in caring for our environment. This gives the children a greater awareness about themselves, their community and the natural world.
