All 4 of my children have attended 3 of the Spunky Monkeys centres, Penrith, Lemongrove and the previous Box Hill centre ranging from 2009 until currently. I can honestly say all of my children are enthusiastic about going to "School" each day and have loved being at these centres. The staff are amazing and caring and I cannot thank them enough for all of their hard work, day in day out for everything they have taught my children whilst showing care and kindness. They are constantly doing activities they love but also having educational programs included. The centres are not large numbers, so it always felt like a close-knit family. Karena, you have built these centres into very reputable and wonderful daycares, you should be proud of them and all of your staff. Read more

We have been going to Spunky Monkeys for the past 3 years and I couldn’t have picked a better place to send my kids. Everyday they tell me about what they’ve done and what they’ve eaten and who they’ve played with and it always sounds like so much fun. In January 2012 the National Quality Framework (NQF) came into effect across Australia.
The purpose of the NQF is to improve and standardise the quality of child care through a
range of measures including better staff to child ratios, higher staff qualifications
and an assessment and rating system designed to promote continuous improvement.
Under the NQF child care services are assessed and rated against the National Quality Standards (NQS).
The NQS measures the quality of early childhood education and care in Australia. It will cover
most long day care, family day care, preschool/kindergarten and outside school hours care services.
Under these standards child care services will be assessed and rated against the
seven quality areas, 18 standards and 58 elements that make up the NQS.
