This center is THE most wonderful daycare!!! I cannot recommend them highly enough if you are looking for childcare in Medowie. The educators are warm and extremely caring, they really understand your child and their needs. The center itself is beautiful with an impressive outdoor play area. My daughter loves coming to the center and has formed great relationships with the educators and other kids. I believe the center has really helped her to come out of her shell and become more confident in making friends and building reltionships.

Since 1995, Uniting Early Learning Medowie has supported families across Medowie, Port Stephens and surrounding communities, providing high‑quality early learning and preschool education for children from birth to 5 years. Located on Worimi land in a quiet residential street, our long day care centre in Medowie, NSW offers a warm, inclusive environment where children feel safe, supported and ready to learn.
A culturally rich and inclusive learning community
Many of our educators have been with the centre for many years, forming strong, lasting relationships with children and families. We value the diverse cultures of the Medowie and Port Stephens community and foster cultural understanding through Worimi educator visits and bush kindy experiences, helping children connect with country and the world around them.
Supporting every stage of development
Our educators take a care‑based approach for babies and toddlers, supporting communication, physical development, and social and emotional wellbeing. Preschool children develop curiosity, confidence and independence through a balance of open‑ended play and structured learning experiences, preparing them for a smooth transition to school.
Inspiring indoor and outdoor learning spaces
Our stimulating indoor classrooms and natural outdoor learning environments encourage creativity and exploration. Children can create in the art studio, ride along the bicycle track, dig in the sandpit, or care for our vegetable garden and worm farm, becoming little gardeners, artists or sustainability champions.
