Our kids started at Goodstart ligar st at just 2 years old and 6 months old, and we’ve been so impressed with the care, attention, and support they’ve received. From the very beginning, the staff made us feel confident that our children were in safe and loving hands. Teachers Alana, Kirsten, and Anne just to name a few are truly wonderful they are warm, patient, and passionate about what they do. They take the time to really get to know each child and create a nurturing environment where kids feel secure and excited to learn. The center offers a great mix of fun and educational activities every day, from creative arts and crafts to outdoor play and sensory learning. We’ve seen so much growth in both of our children, not just in their development, but in their confidence and social skills too. We’re so grateful to have found such a supportive and caring place for our little ones. Highly recommend to any family looking for a high-quality early learning center.

After many attempts to find the right long daycare centre for our family we found this little hidden gem in Ligar St, Sunbury. What a beautiful family feel centre with staff that are there for the right reasons and genuinely want to care for our children and give them the best experiences and learnings everyday. The centre feels so homely with a great variety of resources for the children to learn through play. Credit to Alanna and Kirsten managing the centre and keeping the centre as a safe and happy space. It takes true dedication and passion to run a centre well and we appreciate you all.

As two working parents with no family nearby, GoodStart Ligar has been our little family. Our kids have been here the past 2-3 years and we have seen the centre evolve. The current centre management (Alanna and Kirsten) are fabulous and I can’t speak of them highly enough. Nothing is too much, my kids needs are met and we feel fully heard as a family. The kinder programme is run by an outstanding, passionate kinder teacher who my son is very attached to. My daughter runs off happily in a morning and is always greeted by the educators. We couldn’t ask for more. Thanks to all the wonderful staff that have looked after my kids (and us) over the years.

Our experienced team is a cornerstone of our service, with many educators having been with us for over two years, some nearing a decade. Several team members are bilingual, speaking languages such as Hindi, enhancing our culturally inclusive environment.
Our rooms, from nursery to kindergarten, are thoughtfully designed following the Early Years Learning Framework, offering sensory and play-based learning opportunities tailored to each child’s needs, interests, and strengths. We foster strong relationships with families to personalise each child’s learning journey.
Outdoors, our play area features natural materials and plants tended by the children themselves, encouraging interaction and a connection to nature. Sustainability is at the heart of our programs, instilling respect for the environment both at the centre and at home.
Our qualified cook prepares fresh, nutritious meals daily, including breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, and a late snack, catering to all dietary needs.
We maintain strong community connections, collaborating with local businesses, the Hume City Council, and inclusion services. Annual participation in the Sunbury Fair is a highlight for our centre.
Communication is key, with updates shared via Storypark, email, Facebook, and our foyer displays. We value open dialogue with families to ensure everyone feels connected and informed.
