I would not recommend this daycare at all. We have been there since 2022 and after continuing to try and resolve issues after issue we have decided to move our son. Management is a complete joke and even though the director has left, there was zero communication about who would be running the centre in her absence. Staffing ratios were consistently out, and on multiple occasions parents were asked to stay at drop off because ratios could not be met. This raised serious concerns about compliance and child safety. There were ongoing health and safety issues, particularly around toileting practices and the handling of infectious outbreaks. Cleaning was inadequate, and illnesses spread frequently with little evidence of proper infection control measures being followed. Confidentiality was breached by educators on more than one occasion, which is completely unacceptable in a childcare setting. Incidents involving children were reported regularly, yet staff would claim they “didn’t see it happen,” despite these issues occurring repeatedly. There has been no qualified chef for over six months. Educators have been expected to prepare meals despite not holding food safety certifications, which is another serious health and safety concern. Billing has been a constant problem, with repeated overcharging and no clear explanations provided. This centre is the most expensive in the area, yet there is a noticeable lack of resources and materials for the children. Communication was also very poor. New educators often did not introduce themselves or engage with families, making it difficult to build trust. Additionally, there was ongoing bullying in the pre-kindy room throughout the year by an educator’s child, which was repeatedly raised and never adequately addressed. Overall, the combination of safety issues, lack of accountability, poor communication, and high fees makes this centre extremely disappointing. Families deserve far better care, transparency, and professionalism than what is offered here.

My family and I have loved moving to Happy Heart Reid Street. We moved there after our previous daycare, we didn’t like. At happy hearts to educators are really friendly. They’re approachable and take time talk to you every day about how your child’s day was and if there was anything to pass on. All the staff are lovely and you can tell they all love being there.

What can I say ? We have nothing bad to say about this day care center . The compassion they have for our children is an understatement. Although we entered halfway through the year . Our girl adjusted so well with the help of her teachers . From entering to graduation. What a beautiful way to end on a high with out very last daycare . As we embark on prep next year . The confidence that you gave our girl is unforgettable and can't wait to see what she does entering school life . If you have any doubts, don't as this centre answers all your needs . Staff are always accommodating, always understanding and always goes above and beyond. Thank you to the team at Happy Hearts on Reid St Petrie . Sad to be leaving next week for the last time but also excited to see how prep looks on our little girl moving forward. My daughter has been going to Happy Hearts since the end of January. All the educators and management have been absolutely amazing. So kind, caring and also willing to help with anything. They always say hello and can have talk with any of them so easily. It is so nice when you walk in either the front door or into the room they remember you and greet you with such a positive energy. We started in nursery and she did well. Now in Junior Toddlers she is thriving. As a first time mum and going back to work I feel comfortable leaving her with these amazing educators at Happy Hearts. Would recommend to anyone.

Regular updates, photos and thoughtful notes ensure I never miss a moment of my son's day, from little milestones to everyday joys. You can truly see the passion and care the educators bring to their work, capturing every special moment like it was their own child. My son has absolutely thrived in this nurturing environment, just like his big sister did over six years ago. The consistency and dedication of the long term team at Happy Hearts is something rare and so appreciated. They are not only reliable, they are incredible at what they do. I recommend Happy Hearts Reid Street to anyone looking for exceptional childcare. My two sons have been to happy hearts and I still have one in the centre and they are like a second family! We love happy hearts and have great connections. will be sad when I have no more children attending for big school. Highly recommend and the backyard for the kids is the best I’ve seen! I will recommend Happy Hearts Petrie to anyone. We moved our son here a few months ago and our son has been thriving and absolutely loves daycare here. The staff are so lovely and friendly. The outdoor and indoor play areas are amazing. Wish we found this daycare sooner

Lovely centre, huge outdoor play area for the little ones from 2 and up. Lots of room for the little ones to run around. The staff are always friendly.

Overall wouldn’t recommend sending your child here a lot of incidents occurred over a very short period of time with very little explanation to nearly all of them. Management were very helpful in attempting to rectify issues or get to the bottom of incidents but the incidents shouldn’t have happened in the first place. Beautifully set out centre with nice equipment looks very nice but way too many children in such a small space which is I think the reasoning as to so many injuries and incidents.
