A worker HIT my Godchild just because she was upset because she was fussy and she didn’t want to have a nap!! The childcare centre are aware and have done absolutely NOTHING to address the incident that happened!! She was not fired or given any consequences! My family were not made aware of this incident until MULTIPLE weeks later and we have no idea how many times this has happened or if it has happened to other children!! Do NOT send your child here if you value their safety!!

My son has been going to this centre for a few months now, and has never been happier with how the educators engage with him. They're all so caring and compassionate and can see they strive for healthy relationships with the kids. The team have been so welcoming and supportive along the journey. The centre is a friendly place and well looked after. Communication with families is great, they've built a great community. My little son has thoroughly enjoyed his time at Goodstart-Middle Ridge. Highly recommended place! Thanks heaps for Ms.Jess and her incredible team.

Our baby really enjoys her time at the centre nursery rooms in the past year. The educators give her a lot of care and love, and really encouraged her to become a confident toddler. We can clearly see she has built a good relationship with her carers and is learning new things all the time.

We love sending our little baby girl to this daycare centre as they are very attentive, and interested in her welfare and learning and document it all for us to see which we love. They are also very friendly and never rude or ill mannered which is great to see and makes us feel welcomed and relieved that our baby is in a great place.

This centre has been wonderful for all three of our children. Our youngest absolutely loves her days learning and playing at Goodstart Middle Ridge and the staff are always so welcoming and happy to see her each day.

If you’re looking for a daycare centre, choose any other centre but GS Middle Ridge. I can count on one hand the educators that actually care for the children, as for the “management” staff, they are literally useless and have been nothing but a nightmare. I know myself and other parents have resorted to lodging complaints with the Department of Education. Staff walk out like a revolving door and it’s no surprise that the children don’t want to be there either. Recently while picking up my child, 2 “educators” were sitting in a store room chatting while the kids were left unsupervised, only to then race out when they noticed my earlier than normal arrival. Complaints directly to the centre go in one ear and out the other. God forbid your child has a bad day, you’ll just get told you need to “reconsider the enrolment” or “get a psychologist”. Children don’t trust the educators and there is no effort by the educators to actually build relationships so that they feel safe and happy at daycare. My child barely even gets acknowledged when entering the room for the day, yet that’s his fault when he gets upset? No wonder he doesn’t want to go to daycare? GS Middle Ridge was a great centre until the current Director took over. Since then, many families I know have left, or are about to leave, as well as staff just about every week.

My daughter loves going to ‘school’ every week. The educators at this facility are wonderful and made the transition into day care very easy for both my toddler and myself. The daily activities are very well thought out and the educators are very invested in developing your child’s skills and independence. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for daycare. Beautiful looking centre. It’s the staff that’s the issue. A lot of kids get left behind because there just isn’t enough one on one time. And they are too quick to put children into the too hard basket. So many children left this centre not even knowing how to write their own name and that is a requirement for most kindy programs.

The staff are very friendly, helpful, and nurturing- offering excellent support to our busy working family.
