At Natural Elements Early Learning Centre, we believe every child deserves a strong start to their education. That’s why we’re thrilled that the Queensland Government has made kindy free!
What is kindy?
Kindergarten, or kindy, is a part-time educational program for children in the year before Prep. It consists of 15 hours per week for 40 weeks per year and is now free for Queensland children enrolled in Natural Elements’ government-approved kindergarten program.
Our Kindy Program
Our kindy program is designed specifically for children aged four and over. It takes a holistic approach to early development, focusing on:
- Early language, literacy, and numeracy skills
- Social skills and emotional regulation
- Problem-solving abilities
Led by a university-qualified early childhood teacher, our program incorporates activities to enhance both gross and fine motor skills. We foster new friendships and introduce children to diverse cultures and environments, ensuring they are ready for their next big step: Prep!
