About Goodstart Early Learning Eaton

Children aged 6 weeks to 5 years at Goodstart Eaton are cared for in a fun and secure environment. Dedicated educators lead programs where children learn through play and become confident learners. The curriculum is tailored to suit the child’s individual needs and interests to support their growth and development.

Outside there are age-specific areas well-equipped with resources and activities. The large spaces allow the children to run, jump, play and explore with friends. Sandpits, a wooden fort, climbing equipment and a bike track keep the children engaged while developing critical fine and gross motor skills. A worm farm and veggie patches allow the children to learn about sustainability and different ecosystems.

The bright and colourful age-specific rooms are stimulating and help the children develop through sensory play-based learning. The rooms have many engaging activities and educational toys, such as puzzles, dress-ups, arts and crafts.

The centre is conveniently located in central Eaton and across the road from the local Primary School and Community College. Onsite parking and good public transport access make drop off and pick up a breeze. Why not book a tour of this caring and supportive centre today?

Curriculum and programs

Curriculum and programs

The educators at Goodstart Early Learning follow an evidence-based curriculum that aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework. Informed by world-leading research, practices and techniques, the curriculum encourages the children’s natural curiosity and engages them in their learning journey.

As the children move through the different rooms in the centre, the curriculum evolves with them. The educators set goals for the children and celebrate as they reach their milestones. At every stage, the educators are tailoring the curriculum and goals to each child’s individual needs.

The curriculum involves different types of learning experiences and styles. From child-led learning to sessions guided by educators, the children participate in small and large group sessions as well as individual play. Most importantly, the children learn through play, developing social skills, confidence and independence in addition to more formal academic skills.

Parent communication and involvement

Parent communication and involvement

Goodstart Early Learning uses the StoryPark app to connect with parents throughout the day. The educators upload photos and stories to the secure app, which parents can access anytime and anywhere to track their child’s progress.

The approach at the centre is very much based around partnership between families and educators. The educators work with the parents and carers to build strong relationships. They develop trust so the children can feel safe and secure while at the centre. Parents are also encouraged to share their insights and feedback with educators to add depth to the relationship.

The educators observe the children every day and tailor the program around their observations. They share these with parents, so they can feel connected to their child’s progress and also provide feedback that will further enhance their child’s learning experience.

Meet the team

Meet the team

The educators hold relevant qualifications, including the Kindergarten and Preschool Program teachers who are university qualified. The educators are lifelong learners, participating in regular and ongoing professional development to enhance their skills. They are encouraged to upskill, learning about the latest research and thinking in the sector. They can then bring this knowledge back to the centre to share with their colleagues for the benefit of the children.

The team at Goodstart Eaton have been nothing more than welcoming to myself and my children, making it a smooth transition from a previous centre. Management and admin; Leanna, Donna, Jess & Kim have been great to deal with and I am very happy to have my children attend such a lovely centre.

Response from the owner 30 May 2025

Thank you, Jenna, for sharing your positive experience! We’re delighted to hear that the team has made the transition smooth and welcoming for you and your children. It’s wonderful to have you as part of our community!

Jess and the team were amazing when my son was in daycare. He was well looked after and made some great friends!

The bullying is absolutely toxic between the staffs. My son was always upset to be attending this daycare and I knew something was up and one day I walked into see him being shut outside crying and witnessed a staff kick a chair away from him when he wanted to sit at the table.. absolutely disgusting behaviour to see this. It’s meant to be a caring place but this was neglect on my son.
