As a parent of child who graduated from Choklits last year, our experience was fantastic. We believe the Kindergarten 3 and 4 program is outstanding. We saw so much growth within our daughter, socially, emotionally and academically. The dedication of the staff to creating unique learning experiences every single day sets this centre apart. The educators go above and beyond to make learning engaging, meaningful and fun. This really showed in our daughters excitement to attend the centre each day. A special shout-out to Tahlia in admin, who was always so warm, approachable and incredibly helpful. Whether we were asking about our child’s day, navigating CCS, or managing enrolment details, she supported us every step of the way. Having that level of care and assistance made such a difference. We are so grateful for our time at Choklits and will be recommending them to anyone who will listen. An amazing centre with an even more amazing team!

Welcome to Choklits Croydon!
Choklits Child Care Centre and Kindergarten has proudly been part of the Croydon community since 1995. Our child-centred curriculum, activities, and spaces are thoughtfully designed to nurture children's development and foster a love of learning, tailored to their individual interests, wants, and needs. At Choklits, we focus on providing a nurturing, safe, and loving environment that empowers children to explore and build confidence.
We offer care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, using a play-based learning approach to let their inquisitive nature flourish. Our philosophy is rooted in ‘following the child’ by engaging with their interests and providing supportive guidance in their exploration.
Building strong relationships with children and their families is at the heart of what we do. We pride ourselves on a collaborative approach with parents and carers at our Croydon kindergarten. We understand the importance of children forming meaningful relationships and building a supportive community, and we celebrate every new connection or friendship your child forms.
Our purpose-built Croydon early childhood centre has spacious, age-appropriate learning spaces for children aged 0 to 6 years. Outside, large established trees provide natural shade over the play areas, which include slides, playhouses, obstacle courses, sandpits, water play, and gardens.
Our qualified educators, supported by our community expertise, provide tailored education for each child’s developmental stage. We offer dynamic learning through music, language, sports, yoga, and movement classes. Nutritious meals, often prepared with help from the children and ingredients from our garden, are included with no extra fees—everything is covered in the standard fee.

State Government Approved Programs
Here’s what an approved menu means for you and your child: • You can trust the standards; our menu is checked against recognised healthy eating guidelines, so meals and snacks are planned with children’s nutrition in mind. • Balanced food across the day; children are offered a mix of the main food groups, with child-sized portions that support steady energy and healthy growth. • Food that supports learning and wellbeing; nutritious meals help children feel well, stay active, and focus during play, routines, and learning experiences. • Clear planning and transparency; an approved menu means there is careful planning behind each meal. Families can feel reassured about what is served and why.
Here’s what intergenerational learning means for your child; • A stronger sense of belonging; children build connections beyond the centre and feel part of a wider community, including regular visits to Aged Care campuses. • Language and communication growth; conversations, storytelling, and shared activities support listening, speaking, and confidence. • Social and emotional learning; children practise kindness, empathy, patience, and respect while learning with others. • Real-world learning through shared experiences; cooking, gardening, art, music, and simple projects help children learn in practical, memorable ways.
• True value beyond the standard framework; our fees cover everything required under the EYLF and VEYLDF, plus a wide range of additional programs and experiences that make Choklits unique. • No surprise costs; all programs, incursions, excursions, health services, and daily essentials are included, so families do not pay extra throughout the year. • Health and wellbeing supported on-site; children benefit from in-house Allied Health services, regular Doctor visits, and yoga sessions that support physical health, emotional regulation, and overall development. • Strong physical foundations; through Choklits Activate and active play programs, children build fundamental movement skills, coordination, and confidence. • Creative and cognitive enrichment; music and movement lessons, messy play, and weekly cooking experiences encourage imagination, problem-solving, practical life skills, and healthy food awareness. • Learning beyond the classroom; intergenerational learning, Bush Kinder, weekly library excursions, and language classes extend children’s understanding of community, culture, literacy, and the natural world. • Meaningful cultural connection; Aboriginal Culture programs delivered through our Reconciliation Action Plan support respect, understanding, and connection to Country. • Complete care each day; Nutrition Australia-approved meals, nappies, and all consumables are provided, ensuring children’s daily needs are met in a safe, well-planned environment.
