Uniting Dove Cottage Early Learning Bankstown Centre overview
Serving the community for more than 45 years
Since 1977, Uniting Dove Cottage Early Learning Bankstown has welcomed children from birth to 5 years. On Daruk land and conveniently located in the heart of Bankstown, our early learning centre offers engaging and inclusive early education and preschool programs.
Our commitment to diversity
Our educators often stay with us for many years, keeping a strong connection with the diverse cultures of their local community. We’re committed to creating a warm and safe learning space, making every child feel valued and respected.
Nurturing every stage of development
Nurturing your child’s cognitive development is important to us. With our care-based approach to toddlers and babies, our educators meaningfully contribute to your child’s learning experiences by encouraging their communication, physical development, and social and emotional skills. Through open-ended play and structured activities, our tailored approach nurtures the curiosity of preschoolers and builds their sense of independence.
Natural and stimulating learning spaces
We know how important these early years are, which is why we encourage your child to explore their creativity and self-expression in our stimulating indoor and natural outdoor play spaces. This could take them from constructing sandcastles in our sandpit to planting seeds in our garden or becoming a budding historian during our excursions.
Our early learning centre will provide your child with the tools to make the transition to ‘big school’ easy on them and you.
Take a tour to meet and see us in action - we’re looking forward to welcoming you soon.

It was happened 3 or 4 years ago while I was overseas caring for family and divorced with my husband, the director allowed my ex to: - Illegally block ALL contact with my child for 2 or 3 months (no court order existed) - Delete my access to Story Park App photos & updates When I begged for help, the director claimed "we can’t interfere with the fee-paying parent" – violating: Family Law Act(equal parental rights) Basic humanity I understanding most of the school and cc dont want to in between, but there are many ways to solve this problem rather to push the mother away and left the hopless. Before we divorce I am the one choose this childcare for my little one and I never ever expect I will be treated like this one day. Shocking disregard for a mother’s love. Teachers deserved better leadership. Hope no parent suffers this cruelty again. ( At the end I only can back to Sydney to find the police and lawyer to solve this for me. And I change another childcare when my child with me,but I also want to say thank you for all the teachers to take care of my little while during this difficult time. ) Read more
