We love Bunyarra the educators and director have all been so lovely we are going to miss them all. We have been at this centre for 3 years with two kids and both of our children have been happy every time we pick them up. Thank you for all the amazing work you do!

Our little Man's first Childcare, and our first child to attend childcare. Our little man has a bit of trouble letting go of his parents and the team from UBEL have been beyond accommodating and reassuring. The team has worked through all different types of ways to ensure our little man feels welcome and safe. My wife and I are completely amazed at the level of communication from the staff throughout the day during this hard time for us. We visited many child care centres in the area and UBEL was the only one which truly felt they had the childrens' best interest at heart. My wife and I are just so thankful for every member of staff. We could not be happier. Thank you!!!

Since 2012, Uniting Bunyarra Early Learning Chisholm has supported families across Chisholm, Maitland and the Hunter region, providing high‑quality early learning and preschool education for children from birth to 5 years. Located on Wonnarua land in a quiet corner of Chisholm, ACT, our long day care centre offers a calm, welcoming and inclusive environment where children feel safe and supported to learn.
An inclusive and connected learning community
Many of our educators have been part of the centre for many years, forming strong, trusting relationships with children and families. We value the diverse cultures of the local Chisholm community and are committed to creating a warm and respectful learning environment where every child feels valued and included.
Supporting every stage of early development
Our educators take a care‑based and responsive approach for babies and toddlers, supporting communication, physical development, and social and emotional wellbeing. Preschool children develop curiosity, confidence and independence through a balance of open‑ended play, structured learning experiences and regular local excursions.
Inspiring indoor and outdoor learning spaces
Our stimulating indoor classrooms and natural outdoor play spaces encourage creativity and exploration. Children may build sandcastles in the sandpit or become sustainability champions by caring for our worm farm, supporting early environmental awareness.
