Welcome to Guardian Childcare & Education Camberwell,recently refurbished, is unique and inviting daycare centre split between two 1930s houses,featuring high ceilings, native trees and a spacious outdoor area.Our Camberwell child care centre emphasizes play-based learning,offering a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged six weeks to six years.

With new lower fees & enhanced CCS benefits it’s the perfect time to join our centre & nurturing community.

Our long day care centre in Camberwell is conveniently situated for families living in Camberwell or surrounding suburbs such as Hawthorn East,Canterbury,Surrey Hills,Burwood andGlen Iris.

Our Camberwell childcare centre offers:

  • Quality learning programs such as Joy of Reading, Cooking and Sustainability
  • Expansive outdoor play spaces with a sandpit, bike track, tunnels and veggie garden
  • On-site Chef providing fresh snacks and meals daily
  • Nappies, SPF 50+ sunscreen, high-quality formula and bed linen provided

The Victorian Government offers funding to provide families up to 15 hours of Free Kindergarten a week, in addition to the Childcare Subsidy.The funding offsets the fees for three and four-year-old children that are part of the centre’s long day care Kindergarten program.Families will save up to $2,101 a year for children aged three-years-old and above in eligible long day cares in 2025.

With new lower fees & enhanced CCS benefits it’s the perfect time to join our centre & nurturing community.

At Guardian Childcare & Education, parents are invited to be directly involved in their children’s time at the centre. Parents can join their children for breakfast when they drop them off or come in at other times to share meals. They are also invited to join the children on excursions or at other events.

In the centre, parents will find Visible Learning Displays. This helps to track the children’s progress and provides a connection point to spark conversations between parents and educators. Parents and educators also use the StoryPark app for communication with the educators providing regular updates via this platform.

Thank you J R. It’s been such a joy to be part of your family’s journey since 2020—from your daughter’s early days with us to now having your son in our toddler room. We’re so lucky to have Ha leading our team—she really does pour her heart into making the centre the best it can be, and it’s wonderful to hear that it shows. We love creating fun and enriching experiences for the kids, and it means a lot to know you’ve noticed all the little extras like the incursions, excursions, and yummy meals! Most of all, thank you for trusting us with your little ones. Knowing that you feel your son is truly known, cared for, and supported is exactly what we strive for every day.
