My name is Katherine, and I’m proud to be the Centre Manager at Eden Academy Pakenham. With 12 years of experience in Early Education and as a parent myself, I understand the importance of creating a home away from home where families feel supported and children thrive.
I’m passionate about giving kids the best start in life, and I find it incredibly rewarding to watch them grow and learn during such vital years. Building trust with families and creating a safe, nurturing environment is at the heart of everything I do.
Pakenham Centre Manager
Rigorous Recruitment & Screening - All Eden team members undergo thorough checks — including Working With Children, ID, work history, references, right to work, background, and child protection training — to ensure the highest safety standards.
Ongoing Staff Training - Our educators and leaders regularly complete professional development in child protection, identifying signs of harm, mandatory reporting, and creating safe spaces.
Clear Policies & Procedures - We have strong systems in place for reporting and responding to concerns, guided by our Child Protection Policy, Code of Conduct, and Risk Management and Incident Reporting processes.
Empowering Children - We foster environments where children feel respected, heard, and safe to share their thoughts and concerns.
Safe Environments - Our centres are designed with safety in mind. Regular audits and risk assessments help us maintain high standards and minimise hazards.
Family Partnerships - We believe families are central to keeping children safe. We encourage open communication and welcome feedback, questions, or concerns at any time.

My son has been with Eden Academy Pakenham g for a little over a year. The care he has been provided has been exceptional, it made the transition to daycare easier for me as a mum.

Recently he had outgrown his room and the option to transition came up! I was hesitant at first, a new room, new educators and new class mates. It can be a big scary change for a little toddler. Together we took the leap on the transition, the educators support made it easy but there is one person who deserves a shoutout for being our biggest supporter. For not only myself but for my son, Paige. She has made the transition so incredibly easy on him and he has formed such a beautiful bond with her. Paige thank you for being you, for your kind heart and your nurturing personality. I cannot thank you enough for making something that was a little bit scary so much easier.
