Would give 0 stars if I could. My son loved daycare until he started going here. It actually put him off wanting to go to school. Staff to child ratio isn’t good when you consider how many children they have in a room. The play equipment isn’t good for the younger children and my son had multiple accidents where they didn’t even notice what happened. One was a fall from a high slide pole which I had mentioned to them that he was not able to do on his own. He had fallen from the top smacked his head on the ground and had a large lump. They only called me to tell me something happened and he’d scraped his hand and was crying. When I picked him up and asked him he stated what happened and staff denied it but he had a massive lump and was later diagnosed with a concussion. They also make no concessions for neurodivergent children shaming them when they won’t sit for intentional learning or don’t want to do an activity. My son had a chronic health condition when he was there, the centre was given a letter from his doctor stating his condition and that he may have absences for appointments, surgery or illness being managed at home that didn’t require a gp appointment every time. Instead of putting these as explained absences so these would fall under the extra daycare subsidy I had due to being in a high risk pregnancy needing to go to King Edward every second day and experiencing DV from my ex-husband the centre put all absences as unexplained and I was sent a huge bill. No response from the centre to this day, all contact ignored. The staff are worn out and tired and I honestly feel they lack empathy and only care about putting on a good front and making money. Many others I have spoken to with neuro divergent children had similar experiences and were made to feel uncomfortable about speaking up.

We are so grateful we found Pachamama! Millie, Rachel, Shona and the rest of the team in the Nursery room go above and beyond to ensure all of the children in their care are supported, safe and enriched in their learning. Their nurturing, warm and gentle nature has done wonders to help our son settle into daycare and his progress reflects this. As a family, we always feel welcome and supported as a part of the Pachamama. Thank you for all of the hard work, we appreciate you all so much!
We deeply appreciate your feedback Georgia. Thank you very much! Thank you also for being a valued part of our Pachamama family. ❤️

The ladies in the nursery room are doing a fantastic job and Sullivan has grown so much in his short time with them and also my wife loves the updates on the new things he is learning :)
Our Educators in the Nursery Room will be thrilled with your feedback and comment. Thank you for taking the time to share how much you and your wife appreciate Pachamama. ❤️

From the moment my daughter and I step through the doors of this beautiful daycare, we feel like we’re coming home. There’s an immediate sense of warmth, belonging, and genuine care that greets us every single day. It’s in the smiles, the gentle welcomes, and the way every educator seems to truly know and care for each child. My daughter absolutely lights up on Monday mornings — she can’t wait to get there! She talks about her educators and little friends all weekend, and it is reassuring to know that she is not only happy, but thriving in such a nurturing space. The educators are nothing short of exceptional. Their devotion is evident in everything they do — from the thoughtful activities they plan, to the way they communicate with families, and most importantly, how they connect with the children. I see how seen, safe, and loved Sabina feels in their care, and that’s a priceless gift for any parent. The environment is safe, calm, and inspiring. There’s such attention to detail in creating a space that encourages curiosity and confidence, while always making the children feel secure and supported. Their motto rings true that Pachamama is very much a home away from home. I am endlessly grateful for this wonderful place. Knowing my daughter is surrounded by people who truly care for her, and that she feels excited and cherished every day, gives me such peace of mind. As a parent, I couldn’t ask for more!
This brought tears to my eyes Jonathan as you have described exactly what we have dedicated the last decade of our lives working so hard and so passionately trying to create for the families in the Perth Hills. Thank you for your wonderful and heartwarming feedback because it is true … everyone at Pachamama is so focussed on the children in our care every single day - their development, their confidence, and their sense of belonging … in an amazingly inspiring environment. It is tireless work from us all … but knowing it is acknowledged and appreciated makes ALL the difference. Thank you!!! 🥲❤️♥️

I attended the 10 year Open day at Pachamama a few years ago and was so impressed with the grounds, staff and rooms setups. Now my daughter attends the Nursery room and we are so happy to have a spot at Pachamama. All staff, especially Millie and Rachel are very warm and welcoming and my daughter has settled in well. I enjoy reading the daily journals and feel at ease knowing that she is well taken care of and is happy. Thank you Nursery Team.
Thank you Jess for sharing your thoughts and the experiences you have had with Pachamama. It means a lot to us, especially Millie and Rachel and their Nursery Room team! I’m glad you enjoy reading the daily journals - so much effort goes into these communications. May your daughter be a part of the Pachamama family for many years to come.

Absolutely love this childcare centre in the hills. It's bright, colourful, cosy and always welcoming. My son constantly talks about Pachamama!! He talks about his day and what the educators have taught him. His behaviour has improved and I'm really happy with his educator Nouranaa. She always makes him feel welcome and happy. Nouranaa is also very involved with his development and giving me feedback about this, just a very caring person and I'm very confident and thankful I moved my son here.
Nouranaa will be so pleased to read your feedback, Tara. Thank you kindly for sharing your thoughts about our wonderful educators in our kindy room. Knowing that your son’s experiences are in the forefront of his mind to spontaneously share is heartwarming, as is knowing his behaviour has been positively influenced by the love and gentle guidance. Thank you so much!

Our twins have been with Pachamama since they were one, and we are dreading the day they start school full time and won't need to attend regularly. The team has been incredible from the nursery through to the Kindy room. In particular, Nourana has helped bring out our girls individual personalities and build their confidence, while also holding appropriate and caring boundaries that have fed through to behaviours at home. In addition to the incredible excursions and activities the team arrange regularly, they are just beautiful genuine people who truly care for your kids. Thank you Pachamama.
Thank you Talicia for your kind words about Pachamama and all the educators who have influenced the development of your twins, with a special shout out to Nouranaa. They will all be so pleased to read your thoughts and feedback. It helps to inspire and motivate. Thank you for the time you took to write this feedback - it is much appreciated!

We are so grateful to all the staff in the Junior Kindy room at Pachamama for being so warm and welcoming every day. A very special mention to Catherine for always being so kind, gentle and nurturing and helping our son adjust to a new environment. You are all so special and doing a wonderful job!
Bravo Catherine for making such an impact on families. Well done and thank you for all you do to assist our Pachamama families! And thank you too Emma for mentioning the efforts of everyone in the Junior Kindy Room, because it is a group effort between our closely knit team. We much appreciate the time you dedicated to bringing forward such supportive comments. They help to motivate our whole team.

What is a Top Rated Centre? A top rated centre must have 5 star average reviews rating, as well as 'Exceeding' or 'Excellent' NQS rating. The National Quality Standards are a set of national benchmarks for early childhood education and care services. It includes seven quality areas like "Children's health and safety" and "Educational program and practice".
Criteria:
The National Quality Standard (NQS) is part of the National Quality Framework (NQF), introduced to enhance the quality of early childhood education and care services in Australia. Developed by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA), the NQS provides a benchmark for childcare services, from long day care and family day care to preschools, kindergartens, and outside school hours care. Under the NQS, childcare services are assessed and rated for the quality of education and care they provide. These ratings give parents a clear understanding of how well a service meets national standards, helping them make the best choice for their child’s needs.
Our average ratings are pulled from verified reviews from Google Reviews and direct parent reviews posted on the Care For Kids website.
Verified Centres are vetted by Care for Kids. As part of this process, Verified Centres undergo a financial assessment to ensure their reliability and credibility. We maintain an ongoing relationship with Verified Centres and provide them with support so they can offer you fresh and accurate information.
