My son attends this centre and he's so excited to go every morning. He runs in happy and eager for his day. Management and staff are excellent and really know every child and their individual needs. My son is autistic and they have learnt all of his quirks. They celebrate every milestone and goal he hits like being able to say a new word etc. They have all been beyond supportive with allowing allied health in to work with him, ensuring they have space to work with him and even following what allied health recommends to allow him to learn the new skills across multiple environments. The opportunities provided to the children are amazing. There's music and other activities throughout the fortnight. They follow children's interests with the programming and expand on things which the children show an interest in. They also include the children in day to day tasks for the room such as making playdough. I'd highly recommend this centre to anyone considering a child care for their child.

About Launchpad Early Learning Centre Greensborough

Launchpad Early Learning Centre Greensborough is a family owned and operated early learning community for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.

At Launchpad Greensborough, children are supported to feel safe, settled, and confident in a calm and consistent environment. We focus on strong relationships with children and families, clear communication, and predictable routines so parents feel informed and children feel secure from their first day.

Our approach is guided by three core values.

Readiness
We provide a rich, play-based learning program with a strong focus on language, literacy, and early learning foundations to support confident transitions into school.

Respect
Children are supported to develop respect for themselves, for others, and for their environment. We encourage positive relationships, inclusion, and a sense of belonging within our learning community.

Resilience
We support children to build confidence, independence, and emotional resilience, helping them navigate challenges, develop self-worth, and grow through everyday experiences.

At Launchpad Greensborough, educators, children, and families work in genuine partnership. We believe learning happens best when children feel known, valued, and supported.

Our program includes meals, nappies, wipes, and bottles, helping to reduce daily pressure for families and allowing children to focus on learning, play, and connection.

We invite families to enquire or book a tour to see whether Launchpad Greensborough is the right fit for their child.

We have never been apart of a childcare service that has experienced such a high turnover of directors. It raises concerns about what may be happening internally. Most recently two more directors have left as they have just vanished. there has been no communication to families regarding these changes, including who is currently managing the service or where the directors have gone. There is someone new everyday. We love Mary at the front desk she's our only comfort when we walk in every morning. We had no aircons for my kids for about 5 weeks. The 40 degree day we saw no communication from owners about a power outage and yet the centre did not even shut. This was not ok my kids would come home clearly dehydrated and sick. Why was someone not here to fix this!!! Isn't this a requirement!! Then let's talk about how the centre was unlocked for about 4 weeks and anyone could walk in!!! I don't think I saw the owners once come in to help with this or even talk to the parents. The only time I've seen them is on instagram but apparently they only have 2 centres and according to there posts and flyers they are around and we are a family. Yet we get told nothing Don't recommend there is something sus going on here. Will be leaving once I find a childcare in the area

Response from the owner 26 Mar 2026

Dear Anonymous, Thank you for your Review. Launchpad takes all feedback seriously. We’re sorry that you have had a negative experience at our centre, it is certainly not what we want for our families. Whilst we appreciate your feedback, we would like to address some of the points you have raised. In our nearly 12 months of operating we have only had a change of Director once for health reasons. Kirsty, our previous Director, is still working at the centre but has changed roles to our Enrolment and Family Engagement Manager and is a highly valued member of our team. She is at the service 3 days per week. Sophie our Operations Manager is at our Greensborough service permanently 5 days per week. Natasha is our Educational Leader and Nominated Supervisor is currently Directing at Greensborough (and has done so previously) , so we do have a highly experienced and well known Management team onsite. Changes in leadership are communicated to families when the timing is appropriate and if a replacement is joining the team, we try to announce that person at the same time. Whilst we understand staff changes are unsettling, sometimes they are simply out of our control. You are correct, Mary is wonderful and the Launchpad community loves her! Yes, the air conditioning and the alarm/locking system on the front door were damaged in the power outage. As were kitchen appliances and the lift. There were several emails sent home to all families to update them on this situation, and we liaised closely with the Department of Education about this. The owners of the building were responsible for the repairs (the owners of Launchpad do not own the building) and repairs were held up for the alarm and the air conditioners because of parts needing to come from overseas. Air conditioning is not a requirement, but it is a preference, and the outage and repairs were out of our control. The centre was not closed as air conditioning was working in the common areas, which were utilised, plus fans and portable air conditioners were bought in. Drink bottles were filled consistently throughout the day, and cool face washers were provided for children who wanted them. We understand your frustration at the delay in repairs, we shared your frustration, but we did everything we could in the circumstances. We’re very sorry to hear that your children came home sick…had we been made aware, we would have worked with you to ensure this didn’t happen again-children staying hydrated and well is a bare minimum at our centre. As owners we are not always there when most parents are at the beginning and ends of the day as it's extreme;y busy, but we are very hands on and closely involved everyday at Greensborough and our other 2 centres. You are correct, we do try to build a sense of family and community at Launchpad. We have a beautiful team, and they represent us when we cannot be present onsite. We will be very sad to see your family leave and we’re incredibly sorry you haven’t had the experience at our service you hoped for. Wishing you all the best going forward.

Wonderful childcare centre with caring, attentive educators. Our child gets to enjoy lots of new activities and foods there. The centre is clean, well organised, and communicates well with families. Highly recommend.
