Maria's Family Day Care

 I do love working with young children and their  families so i have been doing it so for over  27 years. I have been an educator for the last  17, previous to this service i was group leader at a childcare centre;I where i worked for 10 years .

My philosophy when working with young lives  is that " every child is unique" and they thrive in a loving and nurturing environment; where playing experiences are fundamental for their growth and brain developtment .  Also the use of natural materials for learning and respect for nature it's essential at young age , I encourage families and children in my service to have a more sustainable approach with the use of recycling, reuse and re purpose material to reduce carbon footprint. For that reason children play in the garden ,  having a worm farm, reduce the use of plastic , etc   . 

My service will cover the cost for celebrations, excursions  and  regular outings to local library and parks ,  linen and towels  is also taken care of as well as generic  sunscreen  unless you have a prefered brand .

I have introduce in our routine a dental care program so the children learn at young age to care for their dental health, a starter pack it is also provided  .

I have to discloses that i have  a very good supporting  network  with my scheme . 

Also i love to be  inclusive and encourage parents to be participative my program .
