Exceptional Care and Environment – Highly Recommend! We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Kidscape Early Learning Centre Albury. From day one, the staff have been nothing short of amazing—friendly, highly professional, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Every educator knows my son by name, which speaks volumes about how attentive and connected they are to each child. The communication is excellent. Each day at pick-up, we receive a detailed handover about our son’s day, and it’s clear the educators really know and understand him. He always comes home full (he absolutely loves the food they provide!), happy, and excited to tell us all about the fun activities he did. We also love that the daily routines are switched up often to keep things fresh and engaging in the room. The centre has a fantastic outdoor play area with a trampoline, play gym with slide, sandpit, and more—perfect for active little ones to explore and enjoy. Most importantly, we feel so confident knowing our son is in the best of hands. The staff truly care for him as if he were their own, always putting his wellbeing and best interests first. It gives us so much peace of mind and we are so grateful for everything they do. We can’t recommend Kidscape Albury enough! Read more

A warning ‼️ to anybody considering enrolling your child/children at Kidsscape early learning centre East Albury. The complaints I have about this facility are two numerous to mention in full, our overall experience was disappointing to say the least, and traumatising for both my child and I. To say this facility is disorganised and with the exception of a few, the staff incompetent would be a major understatement. Emails almost every day for three weeks in a row requesting we keep our child at home because they are unable to sufficiently staff the facility and then marking our child as absent consequently using up all allocated absences, forcing me to provide doctors certificates in the case of a jenuin need for an absence. The educator to child ratio seemed to be well out of balance and I suspect being asked to keep our child home so often was a tactic to continue to operate outside their accreditation. Calls every week to withdraw our child for vomiting once and/or one loose bowel movements, and not return for 48 hours for symptoms that were never present by the time my child had returned home, a policy that seemed to change to suit their needs. An unusual amount of incident reports regarding our child being bitten and /or injured by other children. When asked what measures were being taken to prevent further incidents of this the standard reply was… “biting is age-appropriate behaviour” kids bite I get it, this doesn’t mean one should stand around and watch it happen! The supervision at this place is lax at best, and when your child comes home crying saying “mommy I’m hungry” it is hart breaking. I have since withdrawn my child from this facility and have contacted regulatory bodies in regards to this facility being incompetent and suspect of operating outside their accreditation. Not only do I not recommend anyone enrol their child at this facility I strongly warn against it! Read more
Dear Magdalina, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are deeply sorry to hear about your negative experience and for any distress caused to you and your child. At Kidscape Early Learning Centre, we strive to provide a safe, nurturing, and high-quality environment for every child, and it is disheartening to learn that we may not have met these expectations in your case. Your concerns regarding staffing, incident management, communication, and supervision have been noted with the utmost seriousness. We understand the impact these issues can have on a family’s trust and experience, and we are committed to improving. To address your specific points: • Staffing and communication: We apologise for any inconvenience caused by requests to keep your child at home. These decisions are made to ensure we meet regulatory staff-to-child ratios and maintain the safety and quality of care. However, we will review our communication process to minimise disruptions and ensure clarity. • Incident management: While biting and similar behaviours can be developmentally common in young children, we understand your frustration. We are reviewing our behaviour guidance policies to ensure we are doing everything possible to prevent such incidents and keep parents informed. • Hunger concerns: It is heartbreaking to hear that your child came home upset. Ensuring children are well-fed and cared for is a priority, and we will investigate this further with the team to ensure no child feels this way. We welcome the opportunity to discuss your concerns further, as we are always seeking to improve. If you’re open to it, please contact our management team directly at Kidscape Albury so we can work towards a resolution and learn from your experience. Thank you again for bringing these matters to our attention. We are committed to making necessary improvements to provide the highest standard of care for all families in our community. Kind regards, Kidscape management team
