We are delighted with our experience at The Woods. Our son has thoroughly enjoyed his time there. There is an amazing Bush Kindy program that adds so much valuable learning and time outdoors. The administration and leadership team are fantastic. The educators are genuinely caring and invested in the kids. We've been to a number of centres over the years and The Woods has restored our confidence in early childhood education. Thank you!

Our son has been at the woods since he was 9 months old. The staff are always friendly and caring with the children. The kids learn so much we have actually enrolled or son for more days as its better learning and interacting at the woods than spending the day at home being unproductive.

Our child is exceptionally happy at The Woods. The educators genuinely care, and the management team are approachable and accommodating. Overall, the centre has a real sense of openness, friendliness and competence - and they also seem so relaxed and calm while doing it all!

The woods is a fantastic daycare centre. My son started when he was 7 months old in the nursery and the educators have been amazing helping him settle into the routine. They have suggested small adjustments and have put in so much effort to make sure he has a great day. They are very creative with their activities and give the children so many opportunities to learn in different ways. The directors have been so accommodating with any requests and stay on top of things very well. We have been so pleased to be a part of the woods community.

I have a really positive experience sending my daughter to The Woods. She is enjoys her time there greatly and looks forward to attending. The educators are kind and communicative. They send us updates of how she and her friends are doing and we look forward to seeing the activities that they have planned for her. The bush kindy and music classes are an extra bonus too. I would highly recommend The Woods.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at The Woods. From the very beginning, it has been clear that the educators genuinely take the time to know each child as an individual. They understand children’s personalities, interests and needs so well, and that care and attentiveness shines through every day. Our children absolutely love being there, and it’s obvious how much fun they are having. That joy comes from knowing they are safe, supported and truly cared for. The environment feels calm, warm and intentional, and the relationships between educators and children are clearly strong and trusting. I am really impressed by the introduction of the floor book because it means that the learning is genuinely driven by the students' interests. Drop-offs and pick-ups are another standout. Mornings are smooth and reassuring, and at the end of the day the educators always take the time to share a brief but meaningful update about how the day has gone. Those conversations make such a difference to me and reinforce how closely they are tuned in to each child’s experience. The kindergarten program at The Woods is exceptional. An enormous amount of thought, care and expertise has gone into designing a program that is both adventurous and deeply respectful of children. The regular time spent in the local woods and creek, playing, exploring and learning safely in nature is truly special and unlike anything else we’ve heard our friends with children in daycare experience. This is beautifully complemented by well-chosen excursions, including trips to Bunyaville and Australia Zoo, which extend children’s learning in authentic and memorable ways. The Woods is a place where children are known, cared for and encouraged to thrive. It is really well managed by Jess and her team and I also feel heard when I talk to them. We feel incredibly fortunate to be part of such a thoughtful, nurturing and inspiring community.

Staff are amazing, our kids are excited to be here. Bush Kindy, Dancing, Sports, arts, crafts, music - they have everything. Most of the staff have been there for years which speaks volumes about the environment and culture. The Director (Jess) has been there over 17 years and has helped build a wonderful community.
