We moved our child to Donvale ELC after hearing great things from two friends whose kids both graduated from here. They told us the teachers were super caring and the centre was always clean, especially the kitchen! So we decided to make the switch, and it’s been the best decision. From day one, our child has come home happy and full of stories about his teachers and friends. He knows almost every teacher’s name, and what really touched us is that the teachers know all the kids by name too! It really feels like a big, warm family. The centre is full of fun and educational toys, plus there’s a lovely book borrowing corner that our child loves. They also run so many great events throughout the year—like dragon and lion dancing, BBQ fundraisers, and cultural celebrations from around the world. There’s always something exciting going on. One thing we really appreciate is the Mandarin program. Yumi, the Mandarin teacher, is so kind, enthusiastic and patient. She makes learning Chinese fun, and it means so much to us that our child is growing up with both English and Chinese. This centre has already given our child so many happy memories, and I know it’ll be a place he looks back on proudly as he grows up. Couldn’t recommend it more! Read more

My daughter joined Donvale ELC's 3-year-old room at the beginning of this year. She initially experienced separation anxiety and had a very hard time settling in. However, the teachers were incredibly patient and caring — they encouraged her gently and even prepared Hello Kitty dolls and stickers (her favorite!) to help her feel more at ease. Now she absolutely loves going to kinder. Every morning, she puts on her school bag and says she wants to go see her teachers and friends. She comes home every day excited to share fun stories from her day and has made many good friends. We've seen real growth in her — she’s learned to share and is becoming more caring toward others. I’d especially like to highlight Anna Lee and Reina. They are not only professional and warm with the kids, but they also take time to communicate clearly with parents. Every time we pick up our daughter, they patiently share updates about her day, which gives us great peace of mind. Highly recommend this ELC — thank you for creating such a loving and supportive environment for our little one to grow! Read more
