My daughter has been attending Guardian Prahran for 4 months now - her first time ever at day care. I was worried as every parent is at first, but it has been amazing. She was eased in really well and has formed great relationships with the wonderful educators. All the staff are so great - kind, caring, involved in my child’s learning and wellbeing. She has learnt so much there already. The food menu is super yum and nutritious, and they do so many activities with the children. It’s got such a warm vibe to the place and my daughter is very happy there. Highly recommend this day care to look after your little ones!

We are incredibly grateful to Guardian Prahran! Enrolled my daughter at 9 months old (nervously) but she did not miss a beat with the wonderful and nurturing educators. Over the past year and a half they have taken such good care of her. The centre is clean, food is healthy and staff are all amazing, evident in how much the kids adore them. Sad to be leaving

By focusing on Nutrition for Life, Guardian gives families peace of mind, knowing their children are developing habits that can set them up for a future of exposure to different foods, good eating patterns and healthy eating. Our qualified cook / chef provides 5 healthy foods every day from our in-house kitchen.

The Victorian Government offers funding to provide families up to 15 hours of Free Kindergarten a week, in addition to the Childcare Subsidy. The funding offsets the fees for three and four-year-old children that are part of the centre’s long day care Kindergarten program. Families will save up to $2,101 a year for children aged three-years-old and above in eligible long day cares in 2026.
