We are very happy to send our 1 y.o to Berry Cottage. She is happy to go and happy most days when she is picked up. The option of being outside when she wants rather than just half an hour/day, the smaller family feel of the centre, the attentive staff and the calm feeling of Berry won us over. Suits us well.

After trying a few childcare centres in the area, Berry Cottage was the only one that truly clicked for our family, especially for our highly spirited and sensitive older child. Both of our children have thrived there thanks to the warm, consistent care they receive.<br><br>In particular, Harriet, Chetna, and Shyamala are incredible educators who are genuinely nurturing and invested in each child’s wellbeing. We love the centre’s play-based approach and its focus on developing secure relationships with the children by using Circle of Security.<br><br>Being family-owned and run gives Berry Cottage a real sense of community and care. We’re so grateful to have found a place where both our children feel safe, supported and happy.

One of my friends recommended me about Berry as we don’t live nearby. During the past years, my children have been attending Berry and we truly appreciate Kristine, Jessica, Chetna and many more educators about positive behavior educating and sharing parenting skills with us. Berry Cottage has been incredible for my son (and for me). Enrolling him in daycare was a tough experience as we wanted to ensure he went somewhere which would nurture and support his social-emotional skills like empathy, self-regulation and general emotional awareness and resilience. We found many places which provided activities like soccer, language and little excursions, but none of the others mentioned these fundamental skills. From the first day, we could tell that my son was warmly welcomed and cared for. They encouraged his unique energy, passions and personality and yet, the environment was always calm. I can’t thank the team enough for taking such good care of him and I know he has learned and grown so much because of you.

We enrolled our firstborn at Berry Cottage in early 2023 when he turned 2, and recently sent our second child earlier this year at around 1.5 years old. Both of them have adapted wonderfully, building great relationships with the teachers and their peers. Unlike other centers with frequent staff changes, we’ve had consistent, amazing teachers throughout. While Berry Cottage doesn’t use an app to update parents on daily activities, we receive monthly newsletters that keep us informed about the curriculum and key events. The Berry team also offers quarterly meetings to discuss our children's progress and set future goals, which has been incredibly helpful. We are deeply grateful, as are other parents, for how much we’ve seen our children grow and enjoy coming to Berry Cottage. Thank you so much, Kerry, Harriet, and the entire Berry team, for always providing exceptional childcare. It’s clear that both the staff and children are genuinely happy to be there every day.
