This daycare has significant areas out of sight, including hallways, play areas, kitchen spaces, and toilets, and there are no CCTV cameras in these locations. In my experience, this made me feel uneasy about supervision and safety. I noticed children being taken out of the main playroom into hallways or other areas with no check-in/check-out process, out of line of sight from the main room and office, which added to my concern. Young children are often unable to communicate discomfort or harm, so visible oversight or recording is important for peace of mind. High-profile cases of child abuse have shown that photographic or video evidence can be crucial in investigations, highlighting the value of visible oversight and recording in childcare settings which is why its being considered being introduced with mandatory leglislation. Even years after a serious investigation in the community at this centre, the absence of cameras has left me feeling that the environment may not provide the level of transparency and monitoring that parents expect. Years later there is still no CCTV, and male staff continue to be employed, which worries me given national reports about offences in childcare settings. Personally, I do not feel confident in their approach to safeguarding children. Read more

My daughter is a bit shy at start, but the team was very caring, and showed a lot of patiences. Communication is always very prompt and clear, and really thank you a lot for taking care of our lovely daughter. She loves going to the child care now, and enjoy the time with our children too!
